What if a wager is graded wrong? check in please

so earlier i had under 1.5 blues first period

    it was 1-1

5 dimes orginally graded it as a win for me...

    putting my account over 200..

when in reality it should of been 100.

what would of happened if i had made a wager for 150? my next play was a hockey game at 805. if the game had already started what would happen to this play? and my account?

would the hockey game at 805 be canceled and correct amount put in account since i would obviously be betting more than what is in the account or what?

i bet the game for less than 100 so it was fine, but just wondering what happens in this situation?

Generally the wager placed would stand. If it lost you would be shown as having a negative balance.

thanks 4 lengths... kind of strange... but if the wager won... you would of been given fair amount? Interesting

i'm not so sure. on this forum you should be able to find some examples - complaints of people who got their wager cancelled.

by far best solution is to let book know it screwed up in the first place.

I can only speak from my experience when I had this same thing happen at 5D. The only difference with my situation is that I honestly thought I won. I wasnt aware at the time that OT in Euro hockey doesnt count for wagers. So I honestly thought I won, when in reality I had lost, but they initially graded it as a win for about 24 hours until they corrected their mistake. This loss would have just about zeroed out my balance at the time.

In any event to answer your question, over the next 24 hours before it was corrected I made a ton of winning wagers bringing my balance back up substantially. They only subtracted off the money that they now realized I lost from the hockey wager. They did not take the stance that all other wagers after that were void because they were placed with funds that turned out to not be mine. The simply subtracted the losing wager amount and I kept everything else. I dont know if this is how it's always done in these situations, like I said, I can only go off of my similiar experience.

No problem. I believe their software just goes in and corrects the grading and everyone's balance is adjusted accordingly. I doubt they have anyone actually doing it manually and looking at each account to look into these scenarios.

Yes, you should of went all in and doubled up.
Your Stl/Clb under was as bad as beat as they come. 0-0 with 1:10 left in the period. Then 2 goals in the final minute including 1 goal with 1 sec left.

"Missed a chance" you say - but at the same time, what would have happened if your next bet had lost and then they reversed the mistake as well ? Your account would be in the negative with them, and before you would be allowed to bet there again then you would have to redeposit enough to cover the negative balance.

So if it is a book that you would like to keep on betting with, then the sensible (and honest) thing to do would be to inform them of the error in the first place. Also, by taking shots at the books like that then you inadvertantly give any unscrupulous books a chance to take a shot back at you if they wanted to - and then you would be in here screaming to high heaven about a book that you tried to cheat cheating you back !

This happened to me at Oddsmaker i believe. I transferred my whole balance of 300 from sportsbook to poker. I then lost the 300 in poker but when i went back to look at my balances and it said i still had 300 in my poker portion of the account. So i transferred this 300 back to my sportsbook. So the system obviously messed up somewhere. They never caught the mistake

Books can pull all sorts of angle shoots here. 5dimes is pretty legit other books will pull out the stops to avoid paying. Imagine if you took your erroneous winnings and hit a 20 teamer??
