How is Bet Islands not an A or A - book?

The customer service is A plus plus plus, and they are pretty solid as a book as well.

I don't care if they don't allow you to parlay 25 different items as that is clearly the way to make money, hope you can catch sarcasm in there.

The other books (A books) have poor customer service which to some of you may not be a big deal, but to most of us it is.

Legends and Bet Islands are the only two books that should be listen in the A category.

Only MLs between 3-10, not alot of options, VERY late lines, ect....

they will be there someday, just not now..but they pay which is most important

B is exactly where they should be this early on...not many places rated at B here in that short amount of time, so that says alot for them

imagine that, A a book not older than two years. Doesnt matter how much they put in for being a sponsor, it will definitely look bad if they push them up there.

They do have late lines, although I notice they have been releasing some NBA and NCAA lines the night before now. It doesn't seem to be consistent though.

Late lines..small limits..only one p2p per week. Your money is safe but far better outs to have unless you are a small time rec bettor.

    Hi Cp,

It seems to me that you posting negative feedback in every of our threads is not quite accurate.

We are not a pro book , but not a lousy book either our checks take 2 to 3 working days , our same day person to person takes 2 to 6 hours and we offer good bonuses and solid CS.

At Betislands we go the exta mile for everyone and we pay people , we are not Pinnacle for someone looking to bet $10k a game that is for sure.

But if you want a steady payout and you can live with $1000 to $2000 max wager that is fine.

Now as far as banking , well that's the reality for American facing sportsbooks there are alot of bookmakers me included that would love to see the Neteller days again but those days are far behind us.

I think aside maybe from ONE shop who is sending checks out in 2 to 3 days ?

Sure a business can always improve and that is what we try to do every day but there are also things that need to be valued.

    Cheers!

    Jon

Jon if you kept our prior arrangements I wouldn't be negative. You chased me for winning at bases and you put a note in my account rescinding an arrangement we had. You know I'm not a bonus player but signing me up with an arrangement and then changing it isn't cool. And as I've stated you to pay quickly.

    CP,

A book that offers you a DimeLine and a bonus has higher risk management than most this is not new. Please read my previous posts about changing arrangements.

To quote anothr post of mine.

" The bonus is still good and any clients that got offered the free half point will be satisfied. This is not a bait and switch we changed the free half point schedule and accomodating clients that had a rollover with that offer or offering them 107 reduced juice which is not a bad deal either in hoops specially with a bonus.

Sportsbooks change offers all the time , again people who have played at my books throughout the last couple of years know that I am a fair guy and have never broken my word or stiffed anyone.

We will still continue to offer good bonuses and solid payouts.

Anymore questions let me know "

So again everyone that has contacted me has gotten a good deal or even a better one than the one they had before.

    Jon

Not true at all!I was hitting football and ncaa hoops for a dime at a time and out of the blue one morning I was cut to a nickel on sides and $300 for totals in hoops.CS gave me no warning and when I asked for increase they said "not now, maybe later in the season".I went back to DSI and have not been back.I never would of left if you were offering 1-2 dime limits.

Jon, do you allow moneybookers deposits/withdrawals at Betislands?

As for the topic, cant comment in BI since I have no experience with them, but to me SBR ratings might be more of an indication as to what category each book belongs to rather than being completely accurate. Just as an example which is obvious to everyone Pinny and 5dimes shouldnt be on the same level, and thats no knock on 5dimes who themselves are a solid book, and then SBO a couple of notches below at A-. Its just not completely accurate, whatever the reasons behind it is (sponsoring, US facing books generally getting more love etc).

If you're happy with a book, havent heard any horror stories, and it getting a decent rating on here, just stick with it!

Agreed, BetIslands has performed solidly and there current rating is appropriate. How would SBR look if they got an A rating already... it would appear to many that a rating can be bought when it has to be earned... I am sure if they keep up with the solid performance they have shown so far they may make it by October (if lucky) but more than likely the start of the new year. Will see how they do in the next couple months when seasonal players pull out most of the available funds... June is when it is the most painful and when they will get a good idea of their overall hold percentage in relation to the big bonus marketing campaign they have done to secure an industry footprint during their first Pro season. Every new service does it and this is when the deep pockets will be truly cinfirmed...

Hell, Heritage finally got an A aftre years of service and they are always as solid as they come and I might point out that their sister book Bethorizon is a B-. They are the same management, service, software, lines and same fast payouts and both are going on 2 decades of service... and both offer reduced juice Heritage 108 and Bethorizon 106. If anyone should have an A is Heritage and any brand owned by them...

I think you are right Mike. Eventually they will be an A book but they haven't been around long enough.
