How does a post-up customer end up with a negitive account balance?

Saw this in the terms and conditions:

Customers are responsible for settling all negative accounts. "Ignorance", "I wouldn't have made that last bet if I knew my balance would have been negative", or "It's not my fault the wager was graded wrong", will not be accepted as excuses for non-settlement of negative balances.

Every account I had I was not able to wager more than my remaining balance. I thought it was impossible to go negative.

If a losing wager is graded as a winner, your balance is temporarily too high. If you bet your balance and lose, and the old wager is corrected, you will end up negative. This obviously causes a lot of headaches.

A settlement in your favour is reversed after your next bet would be the most common cause I would imagine, i.e. as per "It's not my fault the wager was graded wrong".

A deposit credited to your account in error and later corrected could be another.

Or, if you bounce an ***************. They front you the money before it clears. If you had bet and lose, then you would have a negative balance.
