JustBet ripping me off on a bonus

EDIT: JustBet HAS QUICKLY RESOLVED THE ISSUE!!! Is there any way to edit the thread title???

Shortly after the initial post below, Scott from JustBet sent me a Private Message on here telling me to give him a call ASAP and that he would resolve the issue. I call the guy up and this dude was ALL OVER THIS. Honestly, this started as a crummy 1st time experience and I ended up getting the type of awesome Customer Service that I've NEVER gotten from a book. I've seriously never had a sportsbook admit to me that they are wrong and be so willing to fix the issue. He gave me some options as to what I wanted to do over the phone, I told him what I wanted, and it was taken care of. Anyway, just wanted to make sure you guys knew that this was taken care of, and I sure as hell will be going back to JustBet as long as Scott is around.

So I made a small deposit of $100 with these guys this morning to try them out. I did it over the phone, my CC was not working so I used ** to make the deposit. The dude told me he would cover the fees, match my deposit 100%, AND give me some points to enter their blackjack tournament. I figured it was worth it to deposit with these guys and just entertain myself at work.

Anyways, a while later I notice it's taking forever to get my bonus in there, and I end up asking them about it in live chat. The dude says to give him a minute and he disappears for a while and comes back with some crap about how he "cant give any bonuses to Nevada residents." I can't get a bonus because of where I live? Okay... either they're completely full of shit or if this is a legit policy that they have, he should have done a better job of making sure I wasn't a NV resident before I deposited.

The best part is when this dude told me he would "make it up to me" by giving me an entry to the blackjack tourney in place of the bonus, when he had originally promised me a 100% bonus AND a freaking entry to begin with!

What can I do about this? It's only $100, but I'm just tired of sportsbooks having the ability to stick it up our ass without us being able to do ANYTHING AT ALL. Tried calling ** to cancel it, but of course they had picked up the money and they told me I was out of luck.

    WTF can I do?

shark79 usually fixxes these occasional problems. surprised he hasn't showed up yet to ask you to pm him with the details. believe it or not he will fix it. give him a little time to see this. if you don't want to wait - file a complaint. seems you are in the right. and should get the bonus and the entry. good luck

Books need to STOP offering these crazy bonuses to $5 bettors.

I have the feeling we'll be hearing from this poster again if and when the time comes where he wants to request a withdrawal complaining that the withdrawal fees are too high.

Just Bet is a good book, pretty solid but you gotta be honest about one thing.

Their roll overs suck. Too high rollo overs compared to other books.
    Id say succer roll overs.

Justbet.cx is not a worthy Book because of the following:

    - Doesn't offer props that every other Book I know does such as yesterday on the NBA All-Star 3-Pt, Skills & Slam Dunk
    - Doesn't offer NHL 1st Period
    - Doesn't offer Team Totals
    - Doesn't offer Tennis
    - Doesn't offer any live wagering
    - Doesn't offer any overnight lines
    - Doesn't allow point buying when parlaying
    - Doesn't even offer NCAAB game totals, like today (excluding write-in & added games) there are 8 major games and Jutbet is only offering the total on 1 of the 8. I called c/s to find out why these lines aren't being offered and they transferred me to sports, who transferred back to c/s, who transferred me back to sports, who transferred me back to c/s. They 1st told me they only offer totals on nationally televised games. So I replied that Iowa / Illinois is on the BTN Network, the Miami / FL ST game is on ESPN, & Oregon / Oregon ST is on the Fox Sports Network. These are all on national TV, they're taking action on the point spreads, but they're not offering the game totals. If they weren't taking action on the game because of market, tv, whatever, then that's one thing. But they are taking action, just limited action. Every other Book is offering game totals on all the NCAAB games today (even Bodog/Bovada who I thought was the most covservative/square book around). Doesn't make any sense, and what compounds the frustration is that no matter who you talk to at Justbet, they either have no clue or won't answer, and just try to pass the buck. When they said to offer a total the game has to be on national TV (which is lame, especially when they are offering a spread and money line on the same games that they don't offer a total), I gave 3 examples of where they were wrong. This is when I get transferred to someone else. One of which said something about live wagering, but they don't offer live wagering, and seemed like they just wanted to change the subject.

    - Ignorant customer service

If the c/s rep who took my call can't answer my question, and has to transfer me, that's fine as long as you introduce the call and let the next rep know who I am and that my acct # and pw has already been verified. They never did that. So on one call being transferred 5 times internally, every time the next rep needed my acct # so it was like I was starting all over from scratch, which is rude and unprofessional allbeit the least of my concerns.

Since after talking to 5 different reps I couldn't get a straight answer, I concluded with a statement that if all the other Books offer these lines always, and Justbet doesn't, then aren't all the other Books far superior gaming choices? The rep responded with something like, "yea but, we've been in business many years, and you can call us whereas many other places don't offer customer service." I don't know of any reputable sportsbook that doesn't offer customer service. So I replied, "you just said many other places don't offer customer service, which I don't believe, so can you name one? Not asking you to name them all , or 10, or 5, or 2. Just name 1 sportsbook that doesn't offer customer service, and back-up what you're telling me." Nope, wouldn't do it. Easy for them to talk the talk, but they don't walk the walk. So my feeling is, they do not openly disclose their policy, they give out false/misleading info, and basically just flat out lie. The concrete, indisputable fact is, Justbet is not offering totals on 7 of the 8 major NCAAB games today (excluding added and write-ins), even though many are on national tv, and every other book (including Bovada) is. And again, it's not like they're not offering the game at all, they're just for whatever unknown reason offering limited action.

    - Their website is unreliable

Yesterday, and what commonly happens on the weekend, the lines don't load and I can't wager. I get this 404 error message, and this is a major detriment to using their site.

    - Their BJ toruney bonus for $100 deposit is, I think, a scam. This as well, is one of the least of my concerns with them, because it's free so you really can't complain. Anyway, the top prize usually goes to someone with a score of 3000 (3700 actually for this week is the top dog). You start with $1000, get 50 hands that you have to play, and $100 is the max bet per hand. I'd love to know how someone gets 3700, while I who have played many times can't win $1. On my last deposit when getting blackjack twice, the dealer got blackjack at the same time. Sure, just a coincidence I'm sure.

Lastly, a couple of weeks ago, I made multiple deposits and had multiple entries which were suppose to be good until at least Sunday at midnight Eastern Time. However, when I logged in prior to the stated deadline to play, all my entries were locked/forfeited. Not that I was expecting to win a damn thing mind you, it is interesting to watch their game beat my 20's with 7 card 21's. Yea, it happens, I know. Just seems to happen to me more times than normal. So you can't count cards, so how much strategy is there? Dealer has 10 showing and I got 12 or 13, I take a hit, right? I stand on 17-21, right? Seems pretty basic for someone who has played blackjack for over 25 years. I think their free tourney is rigged, but how can we ever prove it?

Yea so, Justbet is by far the weakest A-rated online sportsbook around, and there's really no reason to deposit with them. Compared to say Heritagesports, who not only always offers all the lines, they go beyond like offering half-time money lines which is awesome. And they, unlike Justbet, offer reduced juice!!! Thus, you can use places that always offer all the lines, and reduced juice too, which is tremendous. Or, use Justbet and not know if you're going to have website issues, customer service issues, policy issues, and normal every-day routine lines that every other book offers.

As many of us were chatting, the Cinci/USF 1st half and game Under were luscious plays. Even Bovada offered these routine, normal, every day lines, while Justbet is the only online Book around that didn't:

This is concrete, verifiable proof that Justbet flat out lowers it's members' odds of winning, unlike any other A-rated online sportsbook. Justbet doesn't even come close to offering what so many others do. They're like a little girl sportsbook compared to the big boys.

Perhaps someone from Justbet will come here and explain, why on Earth would anyone choose them, if they offer and do so much less than the others. Perhaps not.

Use Justbet.cx at your own peril.

Just 2 hours ago, 6 reps (3 in c/s, 2 in sports, 1 in live chat) told me they weren't offering totals in the 7 of 8 NCAAB games (excluding Added games and Write-Ins) today because they weren't on national TV (even though as I stated above many were on national TV). Now, all the games have totals.

So, if you were confused on their policy earlier, now you're even more confused and aggravated. Did the 6 Justbet reps I communicated with earlier today just blatantly lie, or are they just clueless, or both? Either way, I do not entrust my action to a Book who cannot be trusted, and/or who is ignorant. Today, Justbet has highlighted that they're both, and so no one should ever make another deposit with them.

    Justbet to the blacklist!

    Ban & Boycott this Book!!

These guys always tread the tight rope. If you keep quiet you will get screwed if you complain they get worried and fix your problem. Such a poor way to run a shop. This is not from hands on with them but from threads I noticed time after time.

    Am I right "Big Guy"??

ps I think there could be great potential here if they were all on the same page.

They have potential as the # 1 concern with using a Book is, do they promptly process payout requests. And they do, so getting paid is not an issue. But every bullet point I mentioned above is a serious weakness for this Book, which you don't have to deal with elsewhere, so why deal with them?

The lying (or ignorance) of the 6 reps I spoke to today, is inexcusable. Why not just come out say something like, "our policy is that we put up lines, if and when we feel like it." That of course wouldn't have appeased me, but is better than than them lying and/or providing wrong info. There is no acceptable excuse for the lies and/or misrepresentation. None!

When a c/s rep tries to evade the issue by saying something like their rep did, "well, you know many other Books don't provide customer service by phone like we do, blah, blah, blah," the rep better be able to back up what they're saying. When I then point blank asked the rep, to just name one other place that does what you say that many others do, the rep better have an answer. This rep didn't, and you know why, because the reps there talk out of their .

Keep in mind this is a pure REC book. They don't like people taking shots and they don't like leaving lines hanging out for people to steam them. Sharky (Nate) is one of the only reasons I would play here because he does provide great service. Apart from him, the book does not have many options, late at posting a lot of lines, does not have reduced juice and so on. However, they will absolutely pay you.

Also, don't just single out Justbet with their blackjack tourney's, the shit is rigged. Doesn't matter what book you play at, sure you may get lucky for a little while.. but eventually you will see the 7 card 21's the blackjacks that push and the dreaded situations where they force you to split hands only to end up witnessing the dealer pull a 5 card 20 or something similar.

What do you mean by leaving lines hanging to steam? If it's after noon-time Eastern Time the day of the games, and every other book on the planet has the lines up for the games starting at 1 PM, 2 PM, 3 PM, etc., and only Justbet doesn't, then that's pretty clear to me that Justbet is the worst A-rated online sportsbook.

Absolutely do not use Justbet, unless you like getting the worst value for your money.

There's another thing I noticed with Justbet, and something that I've seen many other books employ. When I go to confirm my wagers, I get the notice of a line change. Common thing, right? The only thing is, the last second line change is NEVER for me. It's ALWAYS against me. ALWAYS! I choose the line that's -105, oh sorry, it's now -110. I choose a line that's -3.5, oh sorry, it's now -4. If the Book wasn't scimming half points and juice, shouldn't one-time when I place the wager, it tell me instead of -3.5, it's now -3? Shouldn't instead of -115, it tell me it's now -110? If every time there is a last second line change, shouldn't they go down as well as up? Shouldn't they?

The fact is, everytime this happens I either lose more if I lose, or win less if I win. And, when the last second line moves the half point, and then I lose on that half-point (yea, it's happened), I might as well have bent over and grabbed my ankles. You see there are places that track the Books every line movement. Funny thing is, the last second line movement on my plays, are no where to be found on the public record of the Book's line movements. How can that be? Obviously, something isn't right.

Seems to me if you go to place a wager, and I'm talking small wagers of less than $500, whatever line is offered is yours if you confirm the wager within say 60 seconds. But it seems that when the line is -3.5, if you want the fave, it will all of sudden be -4 now, and if you want the dog, it's all of a sudden +3. It's such a crooked industry, I hope I live to see the day when it's legalized here in the U.S., so that Books info is on public record like an annual report. These days, you can't even find out who owns the Books, and is pocketing the profits.

Often Books will tell you on their home page that they're under new and better managment. Yet if you ask them who the old management was, and who the new management is, all you get is a song and dance. That's really something to me, to advertise that you under new management, yet won't disclose who the new management is. What then is the purpose for advertising that you're under new management?

Just a nasty mob out there, trolling for the next second, as then a new sucker has been born. My new line is this ...

Bears make money. Bulls make money. Public gets slaughtered.

Top
