    Sportsbook.com beware of fraud

I requested a payout from Sportsbook.com in November 2011. After 8 weeks I received my check for $2500. I deposited the check at my bank and one day later I was notified by my bank that the check was being returned not paid. My bank notified me that sportsbooK put a stop payment on the check. I called sportsbook and they asked for several items (returned check, bank statement, proof it was returned) which I gave them. They then told me they would do some research but denied issuing a stop payment even though I have an email saying they were issuing a stop payment. I was told by a supervisor that the email was sent in error. They are now claiming it will take them another week to research. I am afraid they stole my money and are a complete fraud. This should serve as notice to all that they ARE a FRAUD. I can supply the emails and the returned check.

Email they sent me in regards to the check:

We'd like to inform you that our processor has initiated a stop payment on transaction ID #***** for $2,500 and as a result we will credit those funds back into your gaming account as soon as we receive the final confirmation from the processor. We will notify you via email once the check has been confirmed as stopped.

We thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience caused. We would also like to ask you to refrain from contacting your bank in regards to this matter as doing so could make the refund process more difficult for our processor.

Should you require further assistance or information, please reply to this message or chat live by clicking the link below. Your reference ID for this email is *******; please quote this number in any further communication on this subject.

    Sincerely,
