I want to be a local, best PPH site to use?

Did a search, lot of threads with no real information. Also a lot of them were outdated. Does anyone have a recommendation? Tried to look over reviews, but there's no real definitive answer which ones are the best.

http://www.payperheadglobal.com/ and http://www.realbookies.com/ are two I'm currently leaning towards.

Any useful feedback would be appreciated.

Run my own. Want to start with friends of friends, local old bar guys that play those terrible parlay tickets and eventually move on to college kids.

I imagine it's much of a muchness Reigle. Any that have a reliable site and decent player management tools will work and your players wont care if you dont like the first one and shift anyway.

Think you need a thread title like "I want to be a local, best PPH site to use" so the right people find you for proper advice.

I helped a local book games in college. Gave me a cut of the action, but more importantly he backed me financially. Your friends can get hot and break you. Real question is do you have enough $ to start up. Takes more than you think.

old local bar guys have no money and will just be taking shots at you, eventually stiffing you and laughing about it. college kids definitely have no money and think they know everything and could care less about stiffing you after they take their shots. you need to rethink your customer base as you can't win money off people who don't have any.

I think people use the term friendship lightly these days. I know some people who think just b/c they know a professional athlete or have met them once or twice they think they are friends with them

Guy is right. Not the most stable of customer bases. You have to plan for a % of no pays. Thus another reason you better be rolled.

If I was a local given my current financial situation I would have to set low limits and not allow parlays.

you'd never go to jail if you got caught. only about a 3000.00 fine at most. but, the real risk is paying off customers (especially college kids) for a short period of time and then when they lose it back they say i don't have it. i spent it. sorry. that would happen.

Why worry about pay only if you give them an account after they pay you beforehand? Just don't do credit accounts. Instead give some sort of bonus and add a ridiculous roll over and they will all cave in....
