Trying to bet a CBB spread tonight, and they take the first bet. Try to pop it again 5 minutes later, wager denied. Ok, fine, they forgot to move the line after my first bet and they're moving it now. Nope. I try about 15 times over the next 30 minutes, declined every time. Do they move the line? No. The line hasn't changed for an hour, and they refuse to take a bet on it (or move it). That's just pathetic.

Edit: Holy shit! I guess they fell asleep, because they finally approved it on the 15th try.

You are not the only one.

They not only do it on the 2nd pop, but sometimes before you bet it once.

For example most books have +7, they move to +7.5, I try to take +7.5

I am starting to wonder......one minute delays........drastic limit cuts......refusal of wagers at stale times........long payments delays.

I was absolutely not betting a teaser. I was buying half a point on ONE CBB side. I was not betting more on that type of wager than I'd bet multiple times in the past.. the latest being the night before. You don't have a hard-coded limit on repopping any straight bets that I'm aware of. Any random account that isn't on manual approval could dump in an arbitrarily large amount of money until you moved the line (and after you moved the line, if he wanted that number too). The limit on CBB sides is 2500. I was only trying to bet 1000 twice buying .5, which isn't even a "max bet" combined.

You have a line posted. Take action on it or move it. If you don't want dime chunks coming in, circle it or lower limits. If you don't want people buying points (or those points), don't offer to sell them. I don't care if you reject a wager and then move your line to more of a consensus number- it's lame for me, but I can understand why you do it. Offering a bet and then spending 25 mintes refusing to take any action on it or to change the number is just chickenshit.

That's nothing. Try having $100 limit and a long ass delay and getting most plays denied for the ridiculous limit even when the line has not yet moved (then they use the information to adjust their lines).

My post title isn't really fair for most users- most people aren't going to get on a delay and want to repop a line. They're a useful book for most US-sport players because they have a good number a decent amount of the time, plus they have live betting, which is just fun if nothing else, and they have two-way futures lines. There are plenty of reasons to put money there.

When I bet a slightly off-market line there (the CBB in question was off-market by just under half a point), and they deny it, they'd always moved the number (and usually moved the number when they accepted it too). Before tonight, I hadn't run into Frank's experience where they just refused action and wouldn't move the number.

I'm glad you added this. It sums up what I was thinking as I read the first post. The problem situation you described has never affected me in my life and I doubt it ever will. And as you say, that would go for a lot of players.

WSEX owes an explanation to all its customers for what has been going on for the past year. "Steve" should come out and post a public explanation in this forum. Until then, WSEX's fair grade is about a D+ -- regardless of the current SBR grade.

Part of the problem by the way was the failure of many emails WSEX claimed to have sent me to arrive. I have three email addresses, globalnet, gmail and hotmail. Success rate of emails from WSEX to the first two was very low.
