    Betonline's chat - zero information policy?

    Didn't use their chat for over a year, but had a couple of questions the last two days. They used to be right on top of things. Not anymore.

    typical industry experience here, I once reported a line error (fav/dog reversed) at major UK site via live chat and after first telling me he was not allowed to advise me what to wager the rep finally caved telling me if I feel this was I should wager, and then confirmed the bet would stand and reconfirmed the line was valid. I asked several different ways and was told good to go.

    Basically I rarely ever believe anything a support rep ever tell me at any betting site. The only sites I trust word from their support departments is 5Dimes and Pinnacle (also feel a little better about SBO, 12Bet and M88 but still skeptical). Everywhere else you'd think you'd need to know something (I mean just anything) about sports betting to do support, but not the case. For most, I imagine their training for the position was quite similar to "do you want fries with that".

    Actually, they used to be quite different at BOL. I remember Ferrari (Maria?) who was very helpful. But she left and I think she went back to college. The useless chat service they have now is probably not an isolated thing. The whole company may be going through the motions.

    I've had similar experiences with quite a few books as of late. Tried to use live chat to ask a pretty basic question about bonuses or other basic stuff and get told the right person isn't in and I need to email them later.

    Absolutely priceless.....I'm guessin' Russell must have been at the end of his shift and had pretty much exhausted his creative thought process.....
