I usually deposit via *************** but Pinnacle doesn't have it and I've decided to use them this Fall for football. Looking at their deposit methods, it seems like Netteller is the way to go. I emailed them and it seemed like they gave me a standard cut and paste response. The CS was not impressive but I am there for the lines.

Can someone tell me how Neteller works on Pinnacle and what are the costs associated with it. Thanks

Pinnacle will give you a 10% bonus on you first deposit of $250 or more. You get one free withdrawal per month on $500 or more. For withdrawals of less than $500 you have to pay a $15 flat fee.

My account is different than most because I use P2P transfers. I don't get some breaks on fees so for the rest you better write Pinny again. I think that Pinny will pick up fees on deposits by Neteller. Neteller has a live chat that is helpful for Neteller questions.

B B You need to start by registering with neteller. i.e. open an account.
name, e-mail address, bank account and # are some of the required data elemnts. Probably a few more, it's been a while. Neteller will assign you an Account ID and a Secure ID. You pick your password. Once you get set up, I think it's the deposit tab that gets you to enter the amount you want to withdraw from your bank account. There is a fee based on percentage of the deposit if you want money instantly available to transfer to a book. Otherwise, it's a 4-5 day wait while the money sits in neteller's pocket. You get e-mail notification when the wait period ends and you can transfer to Pinnacle. This is no charge for this. I just did it last Monday and got notice today that my money iss now available at Neteller. At that point, I believe Pinnacle works differently from othe rbooks , where you use Neteller's site to move the money to your book, at Pinnacle I'm pretty sure you use their site to move money into a Pinnacle accout. Once again- no charge.
Withdrawing money you need to be aware of Pinnacle's fees, if any, but once the money is at neteller you get it back to your bank account free of charge by using the EFT option. This takes just one day. And taking money out of Pinnacle and getting it to neteller, I believe you use Pinnacle's site , not netellers. Other books I use I do all transactions at neteller's site, but Pinnacle works a little differntly.

Neteller is what I use for all my sportsbook transfers now. As Taurus describes, there is a bit of effort into getting it up and running but that's all a distant memory for me now. It was worth it.

Neteller is not absolutely perfect in every way but I like it a lot and, until I see a convincing case that something else will serve my purposes better, I'm sold on it.

(And yes, Pinnacle is one of many sportsbooks where you do your Neteller transfers through the "merchant" site rather than the Neteller site.)

If you're going to use multiple books, Neteller is really a must. It is easily the most efficient and cost-effective method available for maoving money not just from you to the sportsbook and back, but also between books. Just take the time to learn the rules, and most importantly learn the, sometimes nuanced, rules relating to Neteller for each of your individual books. They vary a lot. Some charge for all withdrawals, some never charge. Some have daily limits, some don't. Some give 1 free per month, per 30 days, per week, on and on. Some charge for deposits under a certain amount. Some won't let you w/d if you've recently deposited. You get the idea. As complicated as it might seem, it's still the best optionm out there, by far IMHO.

If you travel and they see you logging in from another computer they will lock your account. Some kind of fraud prevention. Actually probably a pretty good fraud prevention measure.

Anyway, if you travel outside the country you registered in then you can't log in. I have tried calling them and to no avail.

As part of thier fraud prevention, once they've locked your account, they sometimes want to call you at your home number, or see that you are calling them from home. Of course if you are away, thats a problem.

Another thing to be very careful about is that they don't wnat to see two aco****s being logged into form the same ip. So if your at your buddies house, and you wnat to borrow money to go play some pary poker or something, NEVER have your friend log into his account, send you coin, and then you log into your aco**** to recieve the coin from the same ip. That is a big no-no. They give you about 2 warnings before clsoing your aco**** for good

I'm curious to know what everyone's preferred funding methods are. Personally, I've always felt that Neteller is one of the better solutions. I've seen far too many negatives in regards to prepaidatm and was never comfortable with their original ownership in the first place.

Let's see some recommendations and the reasoning behind those recommendations.

ppatm i found was way to cumbersome. I shocked they are still in business. Neteller is by far the easiest to use. Echeck isn't bad, but I always have this fear that something will go wrong, and I'll be told a few days down the line that the check didn't clear, and as a result all my wagers will be deleted.

They're listed on the London Stock Exchange so they're not a fly-by-night.

They're regulated by the Financial Services Authority.

More important, they're making shedloads of money. At the moment it's one big cash cow for Neteller. Looking at their last accounts, their margins are huge.

If they're making that much money, you can't see them going out of business. And by far the biggest advantage of any funding method is the fact that you can rely on them to be there in the morning.
