5dimes is one of the best rated sites according to SBR.
Do they REALLY pay you? Even if you win a crap load of money?
I would like to really get into sports betting in 2012, but I need some assurance that I am actually going to get paid.
Any help on this??
I've never ever had a problem getting paid. Quick, curtious customer service and they pay the P2P fees once a month! I will note that I'm small time (pulling out 3 figures every time). Maybe someone else can post about their experiences with larger sums of money...
They always pay, and quickly, but winners will have their limits cut, so unless you're talking about getting lucky and hitting some huge parlay, it's tough to win a "crap load of money" before your limits get cut.
Of course, this all depends on your definition of a "crap load of money." $10K might be a crap load for one person, and not much to another.
Curious about both the Poker and Sportsbook on 5dimes. I've heard the good things about sportsbook, but nothing about the poker?
so 5dimes will not let you get your books up to like $100,000, they would cut you off before that?
Does Pinnacle to the same?

5Dimes actually won the recent SBR Posters Poll. Don't think of it in terms of balance, regular players that happen to do well aren't usually limited. Sophisticated bettors may have wager limits adjusted well before a balance balloons up. There's nothing to worry about, players who are shown the door or limited usually wear it as a badge of honor.

People who have the ability to win 100K don't suddenly get into offshore betting in 2012. Worry about winning before you get too concerned with being limited or booted.
After the last debacle, I was hoping that everything would run smoothly with the next payout.
Went with a wire, and I requested it on a Monday and received it on a Thursday. No fee.
Very happy to see that, but sucks that there is not the other available payout that is like wire.
Man that would suck to be banned from 5dimes, I hope it never happens.
Yea, as much as I wanna believe I am capable of getting the books up to 6 figures, I am not. But at the same time, why put the effort into it if you will get cut off.
Also, since you have absolutely no clue what kind of plans I have for 2012, it is impossible to make any assumptions about me or what I am planning on. Do you have records of my previous off-shore betting activity? Maybe I was using OTHER books...
We are all on the same level in here or at least we should be. If we are not, this site would be a waste of time because we would already have it all figured out.
Because that's what winning bettors do. They take advantage of opportunities for as long as they can and when those opportunities dry up, they move on.
There were/are certain books that were/are super easy to beat up on, but you will get booted after winning 10-15K. Kinda silly not to use them until they show you the door.
As for my assumptions about you, while that's what they are, assumptions, I'll stand by them. Call it an educated guess. If I'm wrong, no biggie, shouldn't bother either one of us. Best of luck!
Well said. While I understand the concept of taking advantage of opportunities, I myself, am still in the premature stages of being a "winning bettor". I was your average joe recreational better. Nowadays, things have dramatically changed.
Instead of jumping in headfirst, I have a plan for myself. This question is a miniscule piece of the pie in my grand scheme, but one that I needed more insight on.
I already have an account with 5dimes. When/if I reach the plateau of being cut off, I will indeed move on. It also tells me that I am going to need to find other trusted books so I can continue wagering if the day comes where I need to switch.
A smart man once told me, "A plan is a list of actions arranged in whatever sequence is thought likely to achieve an objective."

I can tell you personally I'm up low 5 figures at 5dimes, and they've given me 3 low 4-figure payouts with no issue.
when they kick me out, i'll be the first to bitch.
there is no assurance your going to get paid at any book no matter what the rating.

1. It's not just the amount, it's what you're betting. If you get lucky and hit a parlay for 30K, they'll continue to welcome your action with open arms. Bet steam, beat the closer consistently, etc., your limits will be cut.
2. Just like a casino/sportsbook in Vegas, an offshore has the right to refuse anyone's action, so not sure what you'll be bitching about.
