    did you contact betonline about this? i have had this happen at top books (not the 17 days, thats exclusive to betonline amongst decently rated books. but checks do bounce.) im not really sure you need sbrs assistance here.

    And while I don't think negatively of you, it doesn't matter what I think. If you have a complaint, it will be handled the same regardless of your opinions in the forums.

    You have the balls to speak out against BOL, which I applaud. But then you say that the process is out of your hands and simply fill out a complaint.     Did it bounce or do they just think its fraudulent? I´ve had banks think sportsbook checks arent real when they are.

    You can ask for someone in particular to handle your complaint, but I don't know how likely that is to matter. We each have different books we cater to, as well as types of complaints.

    It's broad because I'm relaying the info second hand. I deposited the check on Monday, figuring it was good. My wife was notified today, because of a phone call from the bank, that the check was bad. She said fraudulent, but either way it's a bad check. I'll find out more Monday when I go to the Bank.

    PS Betonline B+ and recommended by SBR--what a xxxxxx joke.

    Typically you can only deposit or cash the check where you have an account. Banks are funny that way.

    its not my money so its tough for me to say your overreacting but they will make it right (unless you think they have a plan to send out tons of bad checks and not repay them. and you are the 1st one to be hit by the scam).

    the frustrating thing is you alreadys waiting an extra couple of weeks because your payout was on betonline time and they certainly cant be counted on to do anything in a timely matter. i did once not receive a payout from them. a few days past the stated time frame alex sent me my payout via a 1 or 2 night delivery. the other one came like 2 months later and i was told to just toss it. i would try to get in touch with alex, if you need his email address let me know.

    A bounced/fraudulent check is a processor issue. Yes, it sucks. Nothing I can say will make it go any faster than any other SBR dispute specialist. Your issue is trivial (although frustrating to you).

    Trivial? Really? An SBR sponsored Book is 10 days late in making it's 7-day express payouts and then the check turns out bad. Cash drawn and checks written off this deposit will bounce, but that's trivial right? What a xxxxx joke. A late payment from an SBR sponsored Book bounces/fraudulent and the player gets blamed.

    What I got out of this thread from Justin:

    1. He has no faith in BOL so he won't play there anymore.

    2. The rest of us are screwed by BOL and deserve it because we bought into the SBR ratings. Plus our complaints are trivial (not his money).

    There is a distinct difference in refusal to pay and a processor issue. You will be paid, but this is not a trivial issue from a player's standpoint.

    Sorry for your trouble but I would recommend never writing checks on a deposit from a book until at least a week or more to make sure the funds are good.

    I think that if you ask for Justin7 in particular to handle your complaint and it happens as requested, then 70% of complaints (or even more) will ask for him in particular and that will probably be too much.

    Even though I have to agree that Justin7 is probably the best, I still think that every top book that has a clean record with SBR will want to keep that record clean regardless of the person handling a complaint.

    My complaint was just submitted. I apologize for the abusive language last night and have edited some of my posts to reflect this. This is my first withdrawal from BOL and it's been a nightmare. The frustration got the best of me. I'm sorry.

    Correction: Apparently the bank actually told my wife the check was ficticious, which I took to mean fraudulent.

    Damn sorry your having issues with them right now and sorry its from your first experience. Why do they do this sometimes i don't get it. U could get more info out of them on the phone versus the chat, i wont wait on chat anymore for issues will only make it worse.

    Makes sense but it can get annoying at times especially when u have an issue u want instant answers on, so thats why i would rather not wait over 30 mins on live chat for 1 answer when i could just call and get the answer i need right away. Just what i learned over time.

    man reminds me of the days of sportsbooks informing the call was recorded and me informing them of the same back and actually having mini cassette tapes (not digital or computer based) stored labelled with a number and filed lolz. I haven't called a sportsbook in at least 5 years (probably more like 7 or 8) - do they still inform the call is recorded when you call?

    Occasionally we'll get a complaint involving an overzealous bank employee that doesn't recognise a check and goes mall cop on you, i.e saying a check appears to look "fictitious". It's not a book issue at this point; the check needs to get deposited for there to be a claim on it. The book wouldn't be able to confirm a processing issue until he does so.

    I sincerely hope that's all it is, Lou. I'll find out more on Monday. However to keep excusing BOL every time a complaint is raised sickens me. How many times will SBR say it's okay because BOL will eventually get it right. Is that the yardstick we're now using to measure SBR recommended Books? No offense, but I really hope you don't handle my complaint; you've been pro-BOL in every thread I've read--and there are plenty. It seems you're quick to back BOL even before the complaint is filed.

    PS I filed my complaint this morning. Can you confirm it was received?
