    newbie looking for veteran assistance

I've done much research and have narrowed my list of books to 4: 5Dimes, Legendz, BetOnline, and JustBet. As an American bettor, should I be considering any others? I'm only interested in action on sports events (no casino). Also, what's the best strategy for banking? It looks like a lot of people have issues using CC, and it appears that I have fewer banking options than those outside the US. I appreciate any and all assistance. Thanks!

If you do not have an offshore account I would recommend starting with 5Dimes hands down. (Make sure you select the reduced juice option)

My personal recomendation is 5Dimes by a mile. Those other sites okay secondary outs but I don't see a reason to bet with them. As far as who else to consider Bodog for sure (yes, in some small percentage of cases checks bounce, but they are very solid and offer free payouts - and those issues are fixed soon. They're also consistent no worries about waiting for payouts). If you bet teasers at all: 5Dimes shades but great odds can still make many worth it, from there Bodog and YouWager are good outs.

Also if you do any in-play betting, need another out for openers etc, Bookmaker.eu is solid too. So for who else to consider: Bodog, Bookmaker and YouWager and 5Dimes probably your top choice. I'd actually put all 4 of those sites ahead of the other 3 you mentioned (no issues if you're "only betting spots" with the other three - I just don't see much reason to use them. Although at some point they are good secondary outs to have another site to shop and you should hit up each for at least whatever they offer in sign up bonuses.

    Good luck to you.

The reason I'm considering multiple books is that I've heard that it's good to have the option of different lines and payouts. My criteria for which books comes down to simplicity of use (banking), good promos (I prefer reduced juice), and quality of the book (SBR ratings+customer ratings, including number of problems+severity of problems-resolutions).

Thank you for the advice. It seems 5dimes is the clear-cut favorite of many people.

I personally prefer the BetCRIS GRoup (BetDSI, BookMaker, BetCRIS (non-US)) but I also use 5Dimes, and Pinny... best books in the industry
