    Small Guy versus Bookmaker

I had the over in the Unconn/ Pitt game 42. 550 to win 500. The game went over. I logged into my computer and notice my balance is down 550 instead of up 500. I looked at the wager and seen it marked as an under 42. I never ever play unders or sides. Every bet I have placed with bookmaker has been an over no matter the sport since I started with them for the football season. I called Bookmaker and the receptionist told me I had the under because the system said so. I was told to call and speak to a supervisor tomorrow. I am upset because I don't think I can win. What do I say? All I have is my betting history which has only been overs. Somebody please tell me they've been in a similar situation and prevailed.

I wagered online. I will take still shots from now on. I like Bookmaker. Everything has been good until this.

Sorry this happened. It seems to happen to me about once every 1500 bets, and it's just devastating. I assume it was me who misclicked, but it's still about the most frustrating thing that can happen--although I have had a couple go my way.

Did you know SBR has an app for screenshots?

Awesome! Thank you for the info. I expect to lose the dispute. It just sucks because for a moment I thought I was a nickel richer.

Yeah, I am leaning towards not calling anymore. I am pragmatic.

What do I say? Is it possible that a glitch got me and not others? Hell of a birthday gift. I'll call with only betting history to back me up.

You mistakenly clicked on the under 42 instead of the over 42 when placing your bet.

I've done the same thing on multiple occassions. Unfortunately, the majority of the time, it winds up going against you.

There's just no way to correct the error which will wind up costing you $1,000 plus the juice.

If you phoned in the wager, they record all of those calls but if you placed it on the internet and didn't visually confirm the wager, then it can only be your fault.

Ok, I just won the over in the Virginia/Miami game. I got it back minus the vigor. All is well
