    Rollover Betting question!

Heritage Sports is telling me I have to bet $500 more dollars in order to withdraw any money so my question is if I put a $500 dollar wager on one of the early morning tennis matches that are -800 will I be able to pull money out then? Kind of confused on how it works. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, you have to risk $500 more to meet your rollover requirement.

I like Karlovic -435 if you really want to take a huge favorite. He's playing some no name with no ATP experience. I think the match is at 7am ET or so, but you might want to double check.

Thanks..... I appreciate it. I've bet on some crazy things before, but never tennis. Pretty nervous to pull the trigger on it.

    no name?
LOL ... Fed and Rafa were once no name players
Take huge favourites in R1 against qualifiers at your own risk. One of the best ways to blow your bank on tennis.
With any luck you bet with a book which requires the match to be completed.
My bet was on the "no name" at Betfair and my account balance has just grown somewhat

I ended up staying away from it. I'm glad I did because Karlovic ended up dropping the first set and then it says the match was retired so I'm not sure what happened. Have no idea if the match would have been no actioned or what.

Are you sure Heritage gives credit toward roll-over for favorites. Most books credit the lessor of risk/win. In this case, a 400 level favorite would only get a credit of $125 for a $500 wager. Is Heritage one of the few left that credit the risked amount?

edit: BD beat to posting the same concern and, yes, Heritage has this rule...

Sportsbook Volume is defined at Heritage Sports as the lesser of the risk or win amount of each wager.

It's one of the reasons I stayed away. They were closed when I was thinking about putting in the bet, so I wouldn't wanna risk 400 on it if that's the case. I'm gonna call them today just to be sure.

no rollover doesnt work that way.
if you put 500 at -800 to win 62.50 its the lower of the 2 amount so only 62.50 would apply towards rollover

Firstly, I suspect you are lucky and it will be voided as most books require a match to be completed for action.

But if you are going to take this game seriously you should never bet unless you know the rules of the game. Always read the book's rules for the sport you are going to bet on before you proceed.

Like I said I stayed away from it. I did my research on the players ahead of time and didn't feel comfortable with it. So it doesn't matter at this point. I've been betting online for fun the past 10 years, but I've never gotten any bonus to have to worry about rollover so its good to have this info.

Edit: According to their house rules though once a set is completed then the match can be considered final so I did luck out in not putting this one in.

The funny thing is I figured something fluky like that could happen and joked with a friend about that's why I was gonna stay away. Almost parlayed it with 2 other matches.
