    Linesmaker Progressive Parlay

I play at a number of different sportsbooks and I recently placed a 10 team progressive parlay on linesmaker.com. My team covered the spread on 9 of the games and tied on the last one. The odds were 250-1 for 10 game win and 150-1 for a 9 game win. When I check my account I see that they paid me for 9 wins and 1 loss. I was unaware of the rule that a push is a loss for progressive parlays as I play at other sites where the games would drop down to 9 and remain perfect. I was just going by the chart they had of odds for so many teams with so many losses. My dispute is that I had 9 wins and 1 push while the chart only says loss and not push as well. Is there any chance I can recieve the difference in pay which is about 600$ or anything close to it. They credited my account for 5$ for the confusion. After I searched I still could not find the rule but later they sent me a link that showed that a tie was a loss. Any help in this dispute would be appreciated!!

Yeah, they changed that page as I requested them to post a note below the chart. When I placed my bet it did not have the note below it.

Previously when you clicked on "Try Our Progressive Parlays" it would go to the members specials page where they had the chart but no note along with other special bets, offers, and contests for members. Now they have changed the link to go to the progressive parlay rules.

Another thing interesting about this site is that if you place a bet onto a wagering ticket and then log into sportsbook.com, the same wagering ticket will be there. I have accounts at both linesmaker.com and sportsbook.com and noticed this when i went to place a bet at linesmaker.com and accidentely tried to confirm it at sportsbook.com. Luckily it automatically logged me out of sportsbook when I went to place the bet but I found in weird how the bet transferred from one site to another. They use the same playform so I don't know if just the side bet ticket stuck and the rest of the page changed or what.

Anyone know a way I can get my money for thier false advertising on progressive parlays? Its over 600$ difference from what they paid me and what I should have won.

anyone? They changed their page to show that a push is a loss so I was obviously right that it was misleading.

Their rules were written by a moron (2 places it says "teams" where it should say "Wins"), but the only logical interpretation of the rules above the chart is that a tie counts as a loss.

Exactly except for the fact that they changed that webpage to show that note that when a game is a push it is a loss. Before all I was looking at was the chart that stated GAMES and LOSSES with no mention of pushes.

I was reading the rules ABOVE the chart. Unless you're saying that they changed those too.

When your in the members area their is a bunch of links on the far right side that are special promos. When you click on TRY OUR PROGRESSIVE PARLAYS it used to bring you to a page with contests and special deposit bonuses and different betting options. It would go to the link provided.

    http://linesmaker.com/livesports/ind...EjJRmf-0.0.0.0

Now it goes to a different page that has the chart with the notes above that ties are losses. They redirected the link as I requested because I found it misleading that the chart only said losses and not pushes as well. If you go to the link I provided and scroll down, the progressive parlay chart is present with the odds and no notes that pushes=ties. This is the original page I was looking at when I placed my bet.

    Your link doesn't work, obviously.

Pasting the relevant parts form the page I can see:

When you play a 4 Team Progressive Parlay and 3 or 4 teams win, you win. When you play an 8 Team Progressive Parlay and 6, 7, or 8 teams win, you win. For full payout details for all types of Progressive Parlays, refer to Payouts below. Ties and No Actions are considered a loss for that particular game, but not for the entire wager.

    • Example: If you play a 4 Team Progressive Parlay, 2 wins, 1 tie and 1 loss is a losing wager because there are only 2 wins and not 3.

    Betting Rules
    • Payout is determined by the number of wins.
    • If there is a loss, tie, or No Action, the Progressive Parlay reverts to the next lowest number of teams for payout.
    • You place a bet on a 4 Team Progressive Parlay and win 3 of the 4 games and one game ends in a tie. Your wager is considered successful and a 3 Team Progressive Parlay payout is applied.

Please note that Progressive Parlays also differ from regular parlays in the following ways:

    • Progressive parlay odds are based on point spread wagering options only. The payout calculations are based on these odds.
    • Progressive parlays are not available for MLB, NHL or money-line wagers in football or basketball.
    • In a Progressive Parlay, a push or a tie is considered a loss for that selection. However, if a selection has no-action (due to postponement or cancelation), the bet will revert to the next lowest progressive parlay for payoff.

Which of these statements were present in the rules at the time you bet, and which were added later?

    I also found this page:

Don't know what progressive parlays are? It's actually quite simple, make your picks and even if they don't all come in - you still WIN!
A Progressive Parlay is very similar to a normal parlay, except for one thing: in exchange for not getting as big a payout for picking a perfect combination, you are getting insurance for those occasions when one or more or the teams in your parlay loses.
These can be between 4 and 12 teams but you can only choose point spreads (no totals or moneylines). In these parlays you can lose games and still win the bet because the payouts are lower.

4 - 6 teams... you can afford ONE team to lose/push
7 - 9 teams... you can afford TWO teams to lose/push
10 - 12 teams... you can afford THREE teams to lose/push

only the chart was present when i placed the bet. I don't know if you are a member at linesmaker but on the right side is says Special Promos. The "Try Our Progressive Parlays" link went to the same page as the "10% Thursday Cash" link and this link has member specials as well as the progressive parlay info.

With only the chart, you have a case. With any of the text currently around it, you don't.

Here is the email I sent and their response.

The BetID was 268663568 and was a winning bet. The problem was I thought I won a 9 game progressive parlay for 750$ + my original 5$ bet back but instead i was paid at a 10 game progressive with one loss for 125$ + 5$. As the chart with payouts provided says number of losses rather than number of losses or ties and their is no disclaimer saying that ties are losses instead of pushes. Other sites I play at revert the parlay to the next lowest level with no losses rather than penalizing the player for a push. Had I known pushes lose I certainly wouldn't bet on an NFL game with a 3 point spread and would have most likely opted to make it a regular parlay which would have won me about 1700$ even with the one push. The chart should certainly say 1 loss/push rather than loss as it is very misleading and almost deceiving to your customers.
