    Bookmaker

Edit by SBR Lou: This poster admitted that he knew who used his account in the casino (his ex-girlfriend's boyfriend). Below is his original post in its entirety.

    __________

I have been playing with bookmaker for about a year now and never had a problem until i tried to make this withdraw. before this incident i requested my first withdraw and it took them about a week to take the money out of the account after i asked them to. This time I requested a payout on thursday and it is now monday so i called to see what the hold up was and they told me to call back around 12pm for the control #. i checked my account around 11am and it showed that i only had 50$ (this was odd seeing as though i had a balance of 4200 and only requested 2500). so i called in and while i was on the phone with customer service she informed me that my balance was going up and down as we were speaking on the phone and she believed it to be a problem with the system/server and told me it should be fixed within a few hours. I asked to speak with the supervisor just to confirm and when i spoke with him he said my money was being played in the casino as we were talking on the phone and their is nothing he can do for me except locate the ip address. he told me that i should go and confront whoever was losing my money and get the money from them because he wont do anything for me as far as restoring my account, he said the most he could do was change my password. Be cautious when playing with bookmaker..... I will never play with this sportsbook again.

they said they would do an investigation for me but were not willing to restore my account. i requested for this payout last thursday and still haven't received it. they said it would be paid out today; but obviously not now since my account is now at 0.47.. This is the first problem i have ever had with them so i would think they would offer a courtesy seeing as though their an "A+" and the amount that was taken is pity money to them; but i guess not and im out of 4200..

    Hi L123,

Your password is your own responsibility. A while back SBR published an article with tips to improve your account security.

We'll look at your email, but these stories always have the same ending.

This site was good to me for about a year when i made my second payout request. it took them about a week to process it and even then it still wasnt taken out of my account. then my account was hacked and all the money was gone; they said it had been used in the casino on blackjack. This was my first problem with
this""A+"" book and i have been loyal to them so i was expecting some back in hope they would componsate me seeing as though i wasnt the one playing and they were taking forever with my payout on there end. But no.

when the op is talking to the rep from bookmaker and the rep says money is being played from his account in the casino as they are speaking...bookmaker should freeze the account immediately and see where the ip is.......did they do that? doesnt sound like it......

and lastly "its not my problem" is the common theme when there is a problem with bookmaker.....these guys refuse to take any responsibility about anything.......there is always a polite responsible calming way to handle things aand these guys dont do that.

If the CS rep was seeing the $$ played in front of her eyes, she should have grabbed the IP address right then and there. If you hadn't played any casino games in your history up to that point, losing $4200 in casino wagers should throw up a red flag as well.

I have complete confidence that SBR and their staff will help you recoup any $$ that they can.

Another thing you may want to see is if they have a $$ back on losses in the casino. Some books (like Heritage) offer 20% back on your monthly casino losses. if that is the case, you can get $840 back. Just something you may want to look at for a plan B.

Keep us informed on what is going on. I know as a player, I will be curious to this outcome!

Scares me. I took my free monthly payout by "check" today - hopefully that doesn't get "lost in the mail".

Who the **** would play money in the casino that they couldn't possibly cash out. That's absolutely a joke. Sounds like some shady shit happening.

I had same situation with other betting site, somebody steal all my documents that i send to other site and clean my bank account, they didnt care also and say that money was lost fair on poker game so i had issue with my bank and i prove that i didnt open my account and they back my money so but here they should refund your money because its also their fault and if they can prove that it was from some other IP or other state so they should give your money back!

2 scenarios here...either op gave his password to a buddy after he saw money still available in his account after he withdrew or bookmaker is screwing him.....there is little coincidence in my mind that after the feds took the website away bookmaker has gone downhill......very interested to see what happens here.

if 4200 is nothing to them why do they charge a 70 dollar fee for p2p withdrawals for 300?

after screwing up my withdrawal, i changed methods and was charged $200 for a b2b. A+ is high, for a book that charges and has always charged that much for payouts.

The player confessed via email that his ex-girlfriend's boyfriend allegedly busted his account in the casino. Whether that's accurate or not, its the responsibility of players to not share passwords, or save their sportsbook logins on other people's browsers.

Everyone always quick to jump on the book when in most cases it is the player that is lying.

Interesting how OP is very quiet now. Bookmaker is solid, OP is a chump trying to pass blame.

Not an idiot. I think the guy wouldn't be faulted because his ex's new boyfriend got a hold of his account info. I am not abdicating violence but I think "talking" to him would be a good next step.

Bobby, I don't think he is trying to get one over on Bookmaker. Regardless of how it went down, it doesn't absolve Bookmaker form not freezing the account as he was on the phone with them and someone was playing with his $$ at the same time.

Or he knows it's his fault for not securing his password.....Which I tend to believe, as I know Bookmaker is solid.
