Hi, am new to betting industry. 2 weeks before opened an account with Bet365. While opening i contacted them in chat and asked "what kind of documents you will ask for. I dont have passport and i got only my driving License and election commission card and Income tax card (PAN CARD)". They replied, either a Pan card or driving License or election commission card or any national id cards are enough . They also said, you can send it later. It will be needed only at the time of withdrawal. Now u can deposit and start betting.

But to be in the safer side, i want my account to be verified before depositing. So i sent them my Driving license. Got a reply, we require another proof. Then i sent my Election commission card. Again got a reply from them, We require 1 more proof to completely verify your account. So i sent my Pan card . Now got a reply from them "we are pleased to inform you account is completely verified and you have **********" Also a person called in phone and said your account is completely verified. We dont require any further checks . U can deposit and start betting now.

So i deposited 100 euros and converted into 270 euros the same night . The next morning i cant login to my account. I was said my account is suspended and they asked me to send a photograph of me holding my id proof .. i sent tat too .

No reply for them for 3 days .. When i contacted in chat, they said, we want another proof . I asked wats wrong with you ppl .. U called n said me all is verified . u forced me to deposit . No reply from them .. simply said, we cant answer . we want anotehr proof .. while opening itself i was said i hv only these things . no reply from them . they jus keep on telling the same things .. i said leave me .. close my account and send my money back .. they simply replied we will close your account .. but we will froze your money. How cruel this is .. Fur ther they said we need a PVC code and another proof.. but i not recieved it .. when i contacted them ,they simply said, ok we will send u a new code, but it should take 10 days .. If u recieve teh old code and enter it we cannot accept .. They simply want to steal my money .. no reply watsoever.. before depositing tons of mails .. after closing , not even a single mail for any of my query . every time i shoudl speak in chat .. there also same unappropriate reply ..

Kindly help me to open my account .. how can they close my account for 10 days and making me not to use it.. If something is not verified, why they mailed me and called me and said all is verified, nothing needed, u hv ********** and forced me to deposit ..

i was shocked to see bet365 as A graded .. it should be F ..

They are horrible, all over these small amounts tells everything about these shit UK books. Makes me puke that they are still high rated.

maybe get a passport. but that not right if your story is 100 percent accurate.

Strange scenario for them to verify you and then to ask you to send in more proof after your deposit - the only thing I can think of is that maybe something on your actual deposit raised a flag with them or the payment processer and that is why they asked for the extra verification.

In general there are starting to be more and more verification issues with books asking for more and more details to make you prove that you are who you say you are - and its seems that certain countries are asked to send in more details proof (such as a photo of you holding your ID) but sadly unless you do send everything they ask of you then in many cases your account will remain closed.

The poll in this thread is quite irrelevant as any books should have the right to decide who they want to serve and at what limit, in the same way that any other business can decide the same thing - such as a bar deciding that you have had enough to drink and cutting you off, and then barring you if you do something wrong or against their rules.

First off, Welcome to the SBRforum

Bet365 (SBR Rated A-) has always had strict restrictions in place in regards to such matters and like Mr.Hareeba mentioned above they do have different cater differently to certain countries. Please fill out a complaint form and one of us will inquire to them on your behalf sir.

What is more irritating is, i made no mistake in my part. while opening itself, i clearly said to them, what documents i have and what will be my deposit mode and all possible things and i deposited only after i heard from them everything is verified and No further checks will be needed.
