Unless Tony refunds my $40.00

Apparently there's a new rate that was charged to my account in reference to a payout of 3k? The surcharge is now $80. Not, one person contacted me or emailed me... or called me... and said sir we apologize for the increase? They just took it out of my account?!?!? Now, the normal rate for courier is $40. What the hell is going on??

The bank is not charging that amount. Books outsource payouts to companies that charge whatever they wish.

Dealing with 5dimes CS will make you go crazy. You won't win. Tony would rather lose a good customer then give money back to a customer. It works for them because they're the only game in town right now. My guess is that if there were more books to chose from Tony would have to lighten up a bit. Once you chat with Tony this won't end with you getting your $40 back, but you will have some suggestions about what you can do with your mother.

Regardless, the point of this thread is... I believe 5Dimes has a set charge for every different US Client. That's my opinion. One day it's $40. Then the next day it's $60.00. Then 5Dimes tells me there's no free payouts anymore. Now, it's $40 for up to 2k.... but for an extra 1k it's another $40 for a grand total of $80.

i happen to like tony alot, but we have butted heads before.....as well as a couple of my gambling friends have had problems with him too, some unrelated to a wager.

i would love to repair my relationship with him, and i feel like not treating me like any disagreement is a 'shot' taken at him is a must for me.

5Dimes has great options, and i love the ability to parlay anything uncorrelated, but until i can get have an honest and non-aggressive chat with him, i can't there.

They don't have a different fee for every client. Read their deposit/withdrawal page:

"Fees associated with FedEx/UPS/DHL
Deposits via courier express are always free of charge and are processed immediately upon receipt.

Withdrawal: Checks sent via FedEx have an escalated fee:

$40 for $1000
$60 for $1001 up to $2000
$80 for $2001 up to $3000

This may not be right, but do not let $40 sour you on 5 dimes. They are few books that offer the wagering options that 5 dimes does. If you switch and start wagering with an inferior book over $40, I believe you will regret it. In the long run it will cost you more than $40.

Must also suck that you don't realize there are about 3-4 ways to withdraw for a U.S. bettor. I personally don't deal with checks since sometimes they come in 3 days and sometimes in 2 weeks. I prefer the cheaper easier way which doesn't require me to step foot in the bank, and it is always here 3 days later.

It should also be noted that they have changed the policy of only covering $40 in fees on Mondays once per 30 days. The funding method page has been updated to state that they now cover the entire Fedex fee (even if it's $80) on Monday mornings like they always have.

Excellent decision by them. I'm far more accepting of the new fee structure if I can still get that full payout for free once per 30 days.

I'm not that strapped for cash, so I don't need to withdraw every single week. I'll go ahead and wait for my free once a month. And if I happen to do decent on a weekend, I'll go ahead and withdraw to bring the balance back down to a comfortable number.
