New to BetOnline -- Couple of questions

As a former Bodog bettor trying to get a new account set up for football season, a hastily joined BetOnline and now I have several questions that I haven't found answers for in their FAQs or other sources.

1st -- Despite having +$700 in my account, I have a -$343 payout balance. What's the deal with that? It was -$20 at one point, then I won some money in their casino, and it blew up to -$343. Please don't tell me I have to bet a certain amount to clear money won in their casino.

2nd -- Should I be looking elsewhere for a sportsbook? If so, can I have my funds from BetOnline transferred elsewhere? Most important to me are secure site, good payout management, and decent customer service. I'd deal with slightly worse lines if I could have all the other things.

    Thanks!

First off, Welcome to the SBRforum

As far as your amounts above go. Did you accept any type of bonus when you signed up and meet the requirements/terms before being able to withdraw your funds?

There was a 15% bonus on a $50 deposit. Since then, I've made more than $1K in bets and wagered hundreds in the casino.

It sounds like you would have met any type of rollover requirements then. So I don't see any problems for making a withdraw.

In regards to doing any type of book-to-book transfer goes. To my knowledge I don't believe BetOnline (SBR Rated B+) offers that option at this time anymore which means you'll have to use another method they are currently offering.

I posted this in another thread in regards to BetOnline.

I listed to an interview with David Mason the other day when I was at work. For those of you who do not know, Dave is the brand manager for BetOnline. Now as a brand manager you are supposed to market and promote a specific product, I understand that, but the questions he answered were all the wrong answers. Without actually admitting it he more so admitted to taking a gamble allowing US Players. He was asked the question a couple of times and never had the slightest concrete answer for it. When faced with the question of a backup plan to anything that may happen he said something along the lines of, we will have one when it gets there. Rather then answering the questions which I really wanted to know, he pumped the interview full of promos and claims for his sportsbook. I am not saying he did wrong, but the way he answered some of the key questions surrounding the issues that we and all books are all apart of in the industry, he lacked information, confidence and clarity. Just right there makes me suspicious and the fact that I too have read reports of slow pays and no pays, makes this book for me a stay away.

    OK, WTH!!

My payout balance was-$343. I hit an MLB bet -- risk $290 to win $200. When that win cleared, it credited my payout balance with the $490 total risked and won. Now my payout balance stood at +$147. I put in another MLB bet for $340 to win $200. It then debited my payout balance the $340 risked. So now my payout balance is back to -$193.

I have +$985 in my account (with the $340 to win $200 still pending), but if my payout balance is debited every time I make a bet, how am I ever going to be able to withdraw a large amount unless I go on a run and win like 5 bets in a row??

This doesn't make any sense to me!!
