I have placed my bet on Tennis match last night @ YOUWIN.com Y.H. LU vs Zopp 105€ on 1 to WIN (1,85)

This morning I have logged on the site and saw that I won 194€...4€ placed (and lost) and then I have asked to withdraw 190€

After some time (1 hour) I have got this e-mail:
'Unfortunately, we have canceled your bet on Lu, Y-H vs Zopp, J as the price was incorrect.
Please do not hesitate to contact us for any further assistance.

How,in the world,they have a right to cancel something I have already WON! Why did they not cancel it BEFORE the match started..are they waited to Zopp WIN?

What with other players on their site who maybe played this match on bigger stake?? Why don't they AT LEAST pay us with their CURRENT odds (1,40 or something)?

I asked them about this over e-mail and two times in a row I have got this e-mail:
It is a decision taken by our Sports Department and it will not be changed.

I have felt a bad taste in my mouth with this Sportbook

First off, Welcome to the SBRforum

If you're betting into bad lines books will cancel and revert wagers because of it however, since YouWin (SBR Rated D+) is a Malta book I can't say it surprises me at all even if you were in the right. If you feel you are in need of some assistance with this matter please feel free to fill out a complaint form and one of my colleagues will inquire to them on your behalf sir.

Do not bet obvious bad lines, period. Best and most unlikely case is, the book won't notice and pay you, but more often than not, it causes nothing but trouble.

You could open a thread like this on about EVERY book out there, because most of them ocasionally have bad lines and will cancel any wagers on it.

It does suck, but the fact that you tried to refund immediately after the bet was settled would have been a big red flag to them that you knew full-well that it was a mistake, and that you tried to take a shot.

Yes to decide to void the bet after the game is a shitty thing to do on their part, but as someone said - if you bet into obvious bad lines then you give the book a chance to freeroll you like this if they are unscrupulous...

Yes but most books would void the bet as soon as the bad line was recognized, not after the match. It seems both the OP and the book are wrong here, the OP for betting an obviously bad line and the book for freerolling.

it is always like that, somebody tries the bad line and when they win it gets cancelled. and if they lose the bookies just keep the money. avoid betting on obvious bad lines and then you can avoid these kind of things. I mean, if everybody has the odds at 1.20-1.30 and youwin has it at 1.85 you really do not have to be Einstein to see that this is a bad line

Thinking about it, I guess it is possible that the book were that incompetent that they didnt even notice that they had a wrong line up until the game had finished and then went to settle the market, only to suddenly wonder why they had taken a lot of money on it.

Situations like that are always tricky, but if the game had already finished before they noticed then they should just swallow the loss, pay out, and give the linesmaker responsible for the mistake a kick up the backside so he takes more care in future !

Why you laughing? Because of the "they boot winners" part? If you took that into account, 95% of all books would be F rated. So apart from that, any book that pays is a good book in my eyes.

I have never read a justified complaint about Youwin in any forum (trying to freeroll a book and complain afterwards is certainly NOT one), and my own experience has been positive as well, that's all I can say.

This situation on this Sportsbook is described like this:
They will let you play 'incorrect odds' (!!) BUT:
If you WIN your game will be VOID
If you LOSE your money is LOST

Think about,what is with the people who played on Jurgen ZOPP?? Did they cancel their bet? Hell NO!

Complain is already sent to SBR administration,we must to fight against bookies like this :/

That is enough of time to cancel it I they wanned it + 3 hours after the match is over!! Am I right or not??

We all know thet they easy can find incorrect odds in less than half hour but they still let us to play it!!

I did not say YouWin's behavior is correct. But yours is neither. You admitted you tried to freeroll them, while you have no evidence about Youwin whether they were waiting for the match to finish to freeroll players. They might as well have discovered their line error too late, but this doesn't mean they have to pay players who bet on obvious bad lines. Bottom line is, never bet on obvious bad lines, this is why. Youwin will not pay you, and SBR will not get them to pay you either.

They pretended to not see the bad odds for 9 hours (maybe even more) because there is NO WAY they didn't notice this,NO WAY!!

many people do it and any serious bookmaker will spot the mistake and correct it before the game starts. However, as this is a shady businness many bookmakers waiti till the game ends to see if they will win the money or just void the bet. I really do not see how you can win in the long run even if they oversee something
