I have made two ***** over the course of my time at 5dimes. 50 dollars each. Before the ** deposit I did a 625 book transfer to them. After the ** deposits, I did five or six ** deposits...Lost them all.


Here is where it gets interesting. I get the lossback put into my account....less than 20 dollars. In the course of two to three days, thru poker and the casino I run it up over 1k. Happy Yes...

I decide to make my first ever withdrawl from 5dimes using person to person (M-g). I get the verification request for the ** deposits that have cleared a long time ago.

I send in images of Drivers Lic, ** back and front..., authoriztion form signed saying its mine I approve etc, and vechile registration from the state where I live with the address in it.

Nope not good enough...I need to send the bank statements...HUH? It is internet only....not happy about disclosing my spending habits to them.

5 dimes has enough id to verify that its me. They took my person to person and book to book transfers GLADLY enough. The Lossback was from a person to person transfer. This should be a happy time for me...never ran less than 20 dollars to over a K in two days. Six hours of fighting with verification/** department and more documents need to be sent in.

Word to the wise.....

1. Dont use ** for deposits at 5dimes....what a pain this is....digital camera...pics are over 250k in size and they say blurry.

I have spent the morning and afternoon on this...I thought the hardest part of this would be winning money....Getting it looks to be much more difficult

Never had my balance enough to cash out from them. I'll stick to these regulars for me.

DSI-Didn't even have to send documents when using a card for deposits that cleared already, to get payouts.

Betpop/youwager-sent ID and authorization form once, and that was all she wrote.

Play at either of these books if you want hassle free payouts, and both books pays within 5 days.

I understand the need for verification of ones account. Multi-accounting for bonuses and other perks have been abused by the hordes.

I can even understand the desire by the company to verify once a withdrawl is requested and not a deposit. I have dealt more with online poker sites but at those sites you wanted people to insta-deposit. People who really want to play will go thru the hoops; the casual player might not if verification was dictated when the deposit was made. As a poker player; the more money deposited by more players was better for everyone.

SO coming back to 5dimes. I get hit with the verification process. It was not pretty as in length of time, the live chat conversations, nor the amount of documents one has to send in. Bank statments from the C. C was grating to me. I did not want to supply those; yet I wanted to enjoy some of my first cashout.

I was fortunate enough to deal with someone via live chat from the verification department. I expressed my concerns and we hashed thru an odd agreement. The short of it is that I will not be able to use CC to deposit again because I will not supply all said documents. The impulse factor of a small reload I will not be able to do but the majority of my deposits were via person to person so be it.

I am requesting the withdrawl again today because after all this was hammered out it was past 1pm and those withdrawl can not be reuqested after 1pm.

I resent the documents twice...I think in the end they could read them because they had follow up questions on a change in address.


My fault in this is that I did not do verification as soon as I used the CC. I was aware that other sites do this and that the larger sites usually do this.

I had a similar experience.. I've gotten different answers several times from diff. clerks.

Sometimes they would outright like that they didnt receive any documents etc. or to resend it again and again .
Even though the week before I've confirmed that they were recieved.

Overall i find it to be somewhat shady - i dont think i will ever have a big enough balance there just in case.

5Dimes got me on this scam as well. I made 5 $100 deposits with a ** and on the 5th got my account up to $1600 and decided to cash out. They of course then told me I had to fill out all of the forms and send a copy of the ** both sides. I did that and they said it would be processed in the morning. The morning goes by and of course the money does not leave the account. I asked them why it didn't go through and they said I have to sign the **. I did that and tried again, and they told me information was missing from the form they sent. That pissed me off so badly I stupidly bet the money trying to double up and lost.

Another victory for 5dimes... and the last time I will ever ever bet there.

Absolutely yes. Don't let them get you sucked into the Plastic system. Much safer the other way.

A few of my past deposits were via plastic. I went busto a couple of times...the last few deposits were person to person. The winnings were on that deposit (p2p).

It is clearly stated on their website that I had to do verification for plastic. In hindsight, I would never use plastic there but I most certainly would play there.
