    Bodog VIPs

I've been playing with Bodog for almost 8 years now, and I've been a "VIP" for about 3 years. I usually do around 100k in bets each year, so I guess that's how I qualify for their "VIP" status. I've only ever received 2 things from being VIP status.

    1) I don't have to pay the $50 payout fee, which helps out because I payout at least 2 or 3 times a week.
    2) I get call a "special" number where I am allowed to speak with customer service representatives who speak English.

I guess there is a 3rd thing since I've been reading about cases where it takes 2 to 3 weeks to receive payment. I usually get paid 2 or 3 days after I do my payout.

Well today, I received a call from a VIP rep and they offered me 4 Suite tickets to a Padres vs Cubs game. I know it's the Padres and Cubs, but still it's free Suite tickets.

So my questions to any other Bodog VIP person out there are: Have you ever received anything like this from Bodog? How often do they do it? Were there any catches to taking whatever they offered? (Becky, you can chime in too if you want). I am very skeptical about it, it just seems too good to be true that they actually gave me something.

Also, I am not saying this stuff because Bodog is getting a bad rap lately. I had a 2k payout bounce today too. This usually happens to me every couple of months, but they always take care of it so I'm not worried about it. I just want to know about the comp they gave me today, and how often people receive these.

Why in the world would you cash out 2-3 times a week? One of the biggest reasons that fees are high and why books have trouble with processors is because people request so many cash outs.

Because I cash out thousands of dollars each time. Hence the 2k bounced check. I just received another 3k check today too. Re-read the post. I do at least 100k of betting each year. If you were me, would you leave thousands in an online sportsbook? I don't think so. If I was cashing out $100 each time, I would completely agree with your complaint.

Also, they combine the payouts up to 3k each time. So if I payout 1k then 2k each week, they only send me a single 3k payout. So it's not like they are processing each payout. They roll them up into 1.

Dang bro! I have a 6 figure balance there too, but
    A) No VIP for me
    B) Never gotten anything cool like that, and
    C) Two bounced checks in a row last two weeks. Never had that happen; usually much more rare, and this concerns me.

Hey if u want good incentives why not bet at bookmaker and betdsi, they have a great loyalty plan where u can get alot of good sh-it. If u want tickets to games u can get the stubhub giftcard and pick whatever game or ticket u want, also cashback, flyermiles, actually so much shit to choose from.

Uh, yeah, I would. You're acting as if 100k a year is some huge amount. I'm not a high roller by any stretch of the imagination but I easily bet 100k in a month in the summer, let alone in the fall when more sports are running. If you are so uncomfortable with leaving such a large balance at a book, you aren't using the right books.

I'm not saying you're doing anything ethically "wrong" since they're allowing you to do it, but people who request cashouts weekly or multiple times a week are a big part of the reason there are so many processor issues, and if Bodog allows people to do that, no wonder there are so many bounced check issues posted on the forums.

Do these 2 books take US cc's? The reason I stay at Bodog is they take my CC's so at the same time I am racking up CC points every time I deposit. I've had a hard time finding another top book that accepted at least the CC's I use.

I find it hard to believe you make that much money using Bodog. You must like late lines, you must not like buying points, and not be affected by red boxed games. What is your secret to winning that much at a book like Bodog?

John there is a reason they have him in the VIP club and are offering him so many reasons to stick around with them. Let me give you a hint, it's not because he is taking their money.

Still not sure why you'd need to cashout multiple times a week.

BTW, it is not easy making money at Bodog. High vig, and they yank the square lineset pretty fast if you bet the wrong side.

That's what I thought. I just wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt and see if he could explain how he gets 2-3 payouts a week from any book, let alone Bodog.

If you've been a "Bodog VIP" for 3 years... and this the first time Bodog has offered you a gift...

Why would you ask how often this happens?

I believe they do u gotta ask them, everything changes all the time. They are an A+ book with much higher limits than bodog.

Agree with legions if you are betting 100k a year you would be better off at bookmaker or diamond.

    Bookmaker sucks for baseball, though.

I don't use their straight lines, I pretty much only do sweetheart teasers. So for Basketball I am always using their 10 or 8 point teasers and for football I am using their +13 teasers. They pay -120 but are usually an almost sure winner if you do your research. Except when Auburn screwed me last week

The reason I ask about how often it occurs, is because apparently bodog was recently bought out by Mohawk Gaming, I think that's who bought them. So I was seeing if they started giving more comps because of the new ownership, or if this is a 1 in a million thing I received.
