Pinnacle Grand Salami bet confusion *resolved

Edit (see below): Pinnacle is still a good book.

I placed three bets on the MLB salami at about 9 am PST this morning. Then a little while later I made one more bet. I guess one game had already started when I made the final bet, so they cancelled it pretty quickly. I verified with Yahoo scoreboard and sure enough the Indians game had started, so I'm fine with that one being cancelled. But then they ALSO cancelled my 3 earlier bets, which were clearly placed before any game had started. And not only that - they cancelled them, re-opened them when the Indians game was looking bad for me, and then cancelled them again now that my bets are looking good.

I sent an email and I'm hoping it was just a mistake and will get straightened out ASAP, but if not... this is a terrible bush league move by the supposed best book in the industry.

It's either a mistake by them, or you are lieing.

They had the start time of the Salami labeled wrong, but that isn't grounds for canceling bets that were placed before the first game went off.

    Calm,

Hmm... Are you able to submit a sportsbook complaint form?

Lou, sure I just submitted one. I would appreciate any help ASAP as the bet is still ongoing.

They just wrote back to me:
The wagers have been graded correctly according our rules:
Pinnacle Sports does not recognize postponed games, protests or overturned decisions for wagering purposes. All baseball wagers must start the day written, otherwise there is no action and all monies are refunded.

    Baseball Grand Salami:

The Baseball Grand Salami will be decided by the total runs scored in all major-league games scheduled for that day.

All scheduled games must go at least 9 innings (8.5 if the home team is winning). If any scheduled game is canceled or stopped before the completion of 8.5 innings, all wagers on the Baseball Grand Salami will be canceled.

No pitchers will be listed for the Grand Salami; all wagers will have action regardless of the starting pitchers.
I don't see how any of that impacts today's games... there were no games postponed, delayed, etc.

Ah that must be it, I checked yahoo and mlb.com and they didn't show anything - off the board at all books though. Thanks.

Mods feel free to lock or delete the thread. Pinnacle is the best!

Did you say you bet $30,000 on the grand salami? I thought I read that earlier. Maybe I mistook $30K for $3K?

The Dodgers/Nationals game probably caused some confusion with grand salami bets, because it was postponed initially sometime in the afternoon but the commissioner told them they had to try to get the game in, so the game was called back on, and then postponed again sometime shortly after it was scheduled to start. So Pinnacle probably cancelled the salami after the initial postponement, and then you saw the game was still scheduled to be played.
