I had this problem with sportbook.com, they just kept asking for more and more info. CC, passport, driver lic. then it was utility bill etc... etc.. etc... this went on until I just got sick of dealing with them. I'd only given them $100, though at one point the acount was right at $800. While they messed with my head on the payout I played BJ and waited. Was playing $1-5 I didn't want my balance to fall below $500. As I played every now and then I'd look to see my balance... $725, ok... $755, meh, whatever... $615, gez like I'm suddenly loosing 90% of the hands... 10 maybe 15 hands later i checked again... $185, Mmm WTF!!!? I looked and my bet had been upped to $75 a hand. Complete BS. I called, they said it's not possible I must have change my bets, right. Ok, where are we on that payout. Well we need... **** YOU I'm done. I played BJ til the account was empty, which was quick. I now have all their e-mails sent to my spam folder.

I recently started an account with with betonline.com and again started with $100. After last nights MNF (would normally never bet preseason but they gave me a $25 "free play" that would have disappeared if I requested a payout prior to playing it and the NYG looked ,like a easy win.) I have $400 in the account I requested a payout this morning. They said we need a copy of your CC and ID.

I requested a ** wire transfer, will let everyone know if I ever get it.

I live in Mexico and getting a check will do me no good. Plus the mail system here would likely get me that check in 6-8 months, if at all. I'd really like to find an on-line reliable casino that doesn't give me the run around or charge me huge wire transfer fees on payouts. But it looks like it will be another year of using the local sportsbook in person.. which sucks because there lines and points are crap usually.

Ok, just got this from betonline.com-

Hello, Chump who gave us money (ok, I added that) We received your Picture id and CC copies, but Utility Bill is still pending. Thanks Dario Payments team
This is of course the first I've heard of them needing a utility bill and based on their customer service so far I can only assume once I send them a utility bill they'll need some thing else.

You know before I deposited with these guys I contacted them and was told things like "we've been in the business ____ years and we've never missed a payout" And "oh, yes no problem we do wire transfers, bank to bank or we can just send you a check." Now of course it's "Bank transfer?, no, no... wire transfer via ** or **." They act like they have no idea what a bank transfer is, if that's true why did they tell me I need a routing number, account number and some other, maybe a SIM or IBN, number?

I'll let you know how it goes.

Sportsbook.ag jacked a friend of mine as well. They said their processors were down when he requested a payment and put the money back in his account. I was using them up to a couple of months ago when they told me I needed to submit docs for payout that I had already done years ago. Go with 5 dimes.

So 5 dimes? I will look into them. Thanks for the advice.

I really had high hopes for betonline.com. They had good reviews here and said all the right things when I asked before depositing. Hell I'd like to be singing their praises myself right now. I have my money and know who I'd be placing bets with this NFL season. But my experience with their customer service has been basically AWFUL. Takes forever to get someone to respond on chat, then apparently they can't answer your questions. Long pauses between questions and answers. When they do respond it's something like "ok, they're telling me you need to________." First, who are they? Second, why can't I just talk to them? When I was asking questions on how to open an account it was all "yes, no problem, just use your CC... blah, blah, blah." Yes go ahead give us your money we'll pay off if you win, promise, cross our hearts promise. Now that I'm looking to get, basically, a small payout, it's "gee I don't know let me disappear for 5 mins and then tell you a different thing then what you were told when you we're trying to open an account." Oh, well just as well. My girlfriend was getting hooked into one of their slots. Black Jack, sure... Poker... maybe, Slots... NEVER.

Like I said before I'd really like to find some place other then the local sports books here in Mexico. I used them last year and the lines are just crap and sometimes without notice at the last minute they'll just decide all bets are off. They'll give you back you're money, sometimes if you've got more then a couple hundred on a game they'll give you some tokens, usually like $25 which has to be run through a slot machine to redeem. I got one last year for 300 peso, right at $25 buck. Ran it through their slot machine and walked out the door with less then enough to buy one beer. And beer here is cheap.

I was with Betonline several years back for a few months. They certainly did some strange things, not the least of which was suspending my account and refusing to unlock it until I made a verbal promise to "Not bet on NBA half-times so frequently"...Seriously, that was it. They noticed that most of my wagers were at the half, usually for more than my other wagers I was placing on the game itself, or totals, whatever. My account was unlocked, but not before I was given a stern warning to "keep my promise, as your wagers are being watched". Thankfully I was able to get out of the joint a couple of weeks later and have since kept my oath of them never seeing another cent from me.....Strangest thing I've been involved with in nearly 2 decades of wagering.....

So if you win they don't like it is basically what they're saying? I mean if they don't want to take bet on half's why have the bet out there as an option? Or they only accept bets "frequently" from betters who lose on half time bets. What did they tell you "so frequently" meant? I mean if you did it once a week, twice a week, three times a month.. what?

That is just flat out freaking odd. Why is their rating here so high? I mean I signed up with them because this site gave them a good review.

We're talking several years back here Tully, but if I recall I was wagering on HT perhaps 2 or 3 times a night, as opposed to maybe a single wager of "regular" action a day. I was cleaning up as well, thus their reaction.

Regardless, I withdrew my funds a little later and there was no problem whatsoever (via Neteller at the time), so to be fair to them that aspect, an important one at that of course, was handled well.....

They ask you for a "utility bill?" Why would they even need that? I proved it's was my CC, I proved it was me and told them where to send my money. After that it should have been "Ok, here you go and thanks for playing. Hope you return soon (we'd like another shot at getting our money back)."

What kind of weird a$$ casino asks to see a utility bill before paying you your winnings?

Utility bill is usually asked for if there's suspicions regarding the account. Most times, CC front/back + ID is satisfactory. Either way, it should be no problem to produce the requested document.

No it's not a problem, though I don't see what "suspicions" a utility bill could possibly clear up. I'm sure they can see my IP address and for ID I sent a copy of my Mexican FM3 permanent resident **** so residency shouldn't be an issue. Whatever, I sent it right away, no response yet. We'll see.

Edit- you can't type ******* here?

Man I just don't know. I started a small account there just to see. After getting "jacked" by sportbook.com I wanted to test a site before getting serious. This payout was just to check and see if they lived up to their word. I know I asked about "wire transfer" when I opened the account. Now they're telling me they don't do that. I know they never said anyting about a utility bill. I found no mention of it on their site anywhere. I was talking with buddy down here about this today at lunch he asked "what if you didn't have a utility bill in your name?" I know people who live with friends or family and that would be a problem.

If you live in the US this might not be an issue for you, they could just send you a check. They said they could send me one. The mail system here is just awful then once it got here I'd have to fed-ex up to my bank in the us. By the time all that happened, if I ever got the check, it would cost well over $50 just to fed-ex it. This would be why I asked several times "do you do BANK to wire transfers" before I opened an account with them.

If a check works for you Betonline.com might be fine. I will say under no circumstances go anywhere near sportsbook.com, absolute thieves.

Ok, it's been over 40hrs and no response. Their auto-generate e-mail states they will respond in 24 hrs, obviously that's not true.

I e-mailed in a request to just have my account closed and the balance transferred to 5-Dimes.

Will keep all posted on what, if any, is their response.

So this morning I sent them an e-mail requesting a balance transfer to my 5 dimes account. 10 mins later I recieved this e-mail-

    Thank you for your email regarding your payout request. Upon reviewing your request I see that unfortunately you do not have enough in your balance to cover both your payout and the fees associated with this. Please see below for a full list of our payout fees . Please resubmit your request either for a different amount or using a different method. Method Limits Fees Cashier check $500.00 - $2,500.00 $50 ** $100.00 $26.00 ** $100.01 - $200.00 $35.00 ** $200.01 - $300.00 $44.00 ** $300.01 - $400.00 $51.00 ** $400.01 - $500.00 $60.00 ** $500.01 - $600.00 $67.00 ** $600.01 - $750.00 $79.00 ** $750.01 - $800.00 $80.00 ** $100.00 $35.00 ** $100.01 - $200.00 $43.00 ** $200.01 - $300.00 $49.00 ** $300.01 - $400.00 $59.00 ** $400.01 - $500.00 $66.00 ** $500.01 - $600.00 $83.00 ** $600.01 - $750.00 $91.00 ** $750.01 - $1,000.00 $102.00 ** $1000.01 - $1,250.00 $117.00 ** $1,250.01 - $1,500.00 $142.00 ** $1,500.01 - $1,750.00 $166.00 ** $1,750.01 - $2,000.00 $197.00 ** $2,001.01 - $2,500.00 $241.00 Method Minimum Maximum Restrictions ** $100 $2,500 One every 7 days ********** $100 $800 One every 7 days Check $500 $2,500 One every 4 business days Please don't hesitate to get back in touch if you require any further assistance.

    Kindest regards

    Dalllis

Follow all that? Yeah, very simple instructions responding to a question I didn't ask. I've repeated requested what the ** fees were so I knew how much would be left in closing my account, I've always been given vague answers like "they vary depending on the amount, etc..." Maybe it's on their site and I just didn't see it but you'd think a customer service rep could answer that question, right?

    Anyway I responded with-
Please send me the balance of my account minus the ** fees as your table indicates. Then kindly close my account. Thank you
Now 4-5 hours later I get this e-mail-

Thank you for your email regarding your payout request.

In order to transfer your funds to 5 Dimes, we need your 5dimes account

Thank you for your co-operation and please don’t hesitate to get back in touch if you require any further assistance.

    Kindest regards

    Ricky
Which I've just now answered with-

    Well Ricky,

Per a previous e-mail with Dalllis I've requested the balance of my account sent to me via **. I'm requesting the account be closed and whatever is remaining, after charging me the ** fees, be wired to me here ** in *********, Mexico. Maybe you guys should get together and talk so we can all be on the same page.

    Thanks
I honestly don't know at this point if they just have such slow/poor customer service it takes them nearly two days to respond, if they're just delaying things or if they're just messing with my head. At this point I really don't care. Please just ** wire me my money minus the wire fees and close my account. They never see another dime of my money. I highly recommend if your thinking about using them you should think twice. they either have really poor/slow service or are delaying things purposely... either way that's not good IMHO.

Again I'm completely lost why they have a positive rating on this site.

And now I just received this e-mail-

Thank you for your email regarding your payout request.

Thanks for the confirmation your ** payout request will be review and after we send the funds we will close your account as per your request , please be aware transfer to transfer payouts take from 12 to 36 hours .

Thank you for your co-operation and please don’t hesitate to get back in touch if you require any further assistance.

    Kindest regards
    Dalllis
    The Payment Team
I went to their site to see if they mention the 12-36 hour delay in the ** wire transfer, it does. But I noticed another thing on their payout info page. It states-

wire payouts are usually very fast, usually under a week, but depending on the bank, they can take up to 10 business days. Maximum payout via this method is $8,000 per week. You must fax or email us your complete wire instructions. A wire Fee is deducted for each transaction.
I repeatedly asked for a wire payout and was told they don't do them. I would have waited 10 days, it only a couple hundred bucks.

So basically before I signed up I asked if they do wire transfers and was told yes and was given instructions on what info they would need to complete a wire transfer. then when I requested a pay out they said no, we don't do those kind of payouts. Really? Cause it's right on your payout instructions page stating that you do and how long it might take.

I think anyone doing business with them is seriously risking their cash.

Gez, four figures... SOOOOO glad I did a test pay out. I would consider having to wait the weekend for them to decide whether or not they liked my Doc's a little stressful if I had that kind of cash with them.

That seems to be the only reason their rating would remain anywhere above a C-. If there's another reason I'd love to hear it.

I now received the same basic e-mails two days in a row. It states-

I am pleased to tell you that your payout has been submitted for processing and we will send you your tracking number within 12 to 36 hours.
If they send one of these a day for 10 days they can delay the payout for a couple weeks. Nice.

Am really glad I only let this get to a few hundred bucks.

I feel for you man , I just called them and I needed a address change, yet they asked for a utility bill?

I know books need proof, but with a zero balance? What am I going to do steal my own money???

It little sht like this, that messes up your opinion of a book

They will pay you that's for sure but by the time you get paid you are frustrated!

    They sometimes dont get it

Why do they even care where you live? I guess if you're getting a check sent they want to make sure someone isn't stealing your ID then getting your payout. But in my case requesting a wire transfer, where I'm going to need to produce ID to pick up the pay out... well asking for a utility bill was just silly in my opinion.

I think it's all just stall tactics to catch those gamblers that can't stop when their up (or down for that matter.) They know the longer their sitting on peoples money there's a % of people who will continue to play and they'll have a chance to get some if not all of their money back.

Yeah, I saw. Sorry for all your problems. What a freaking nightmare. But that's the same type chat/customer service I got.

They're a scam, flat out scam.

    And their games continue...

    Good afternoon *********:

Unfortunately we’re contacting you since we’re requiring some more information from your part in order to send your payout request.
First of all, we’re required to ask of you for at least 3 names, in this case, your first and your two (2) last names in order to send you the transfer and second, we’re requiring a valid address to where to send your payout with city, state or province and country.

We thank you for your cooperation with this matter and hope to resolve this matter as soon as possible.

    Kindest regards,

    Alexander

Received this moments ago. I've supplied exactly where I want the payment sent, I've supplied them with offical government ID.

So only play with these guys if you have TWO last names. I guess their target market is ladies who have hyphenated their last names after the wedding.

People these guys are a SCAM site. DO NOT SEND them money.
