    5 Dimes and Poker

So, I am not coming on here to raise havoc, but I am suddenly concerned. I posted a few weeks back looking for a new book and the majority of people on here recommended 5 dimes.

Anyway, I finally made a deposit with them today. As they have a Poker room, I decided to play as I miss the old poker sites that are now gone. I may not be on ESPN playing, but I consider myself a good poker player and have done well for myself before all the online sites shut down.

Anyway, I played for small wagers today. The thing that bugs me is that within an hour, I lost four times to pocket Aces. Each time I had the top pair on the board, a K or A for a kicker, and the board was dead for flushes and straights. Essentially, it would take pocket aces to beat me or a set. Ironically, I was dealt pocket aces once as well and I lost to a set of 5's. Whether it be Vegas, Tunica, or Full Tilt, I can remember playing for hours at a time and never seeing pocket rockets. Now I see them four times against me and each time I have top pair and a strong kicker...impossible to lay down.

Anyway, I lost $100, it sucks, but it is what it is. My real concern now is if the rest of my money I deposited for the Sportsbook is gone as well. Does it even matter if I play and win. Will they actually pay me. I am just getting really creeped out that I just dropped $2,000 with them and I will never see it again. Please let me know about the payouts. For the poker rooms there, I am going to take my beating and not go back.

    Honest feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

Yes they'll pay you if you play sports (or, I'm sure, poker). I have no idea what network their room is on but severely doubt it is rigged.

Thanks Santos...just very weird string of hands on an online electronic site. Like I said, not trying to raise havoc. Besides, if they were going to fix a hand, I doubt they would be doing it on $20 to $30 all-ins.

I live in the US and with all the bad press and sites shutting down, it is just a bit disturbing sending money overseas. I actually left BetUS for 5 Dimes from all the bad press BetUS got and the generally positive reviews for 5 Dimes.

Anyone else have a response to being paid by 5 Dimes Sportsbook, good or bad?

I just signed with 5 dimes as well and will be depositing next week. They seem to be a very professional straight forward book with great betting options, early lines and low minimums. Any book that takes 25 cent hits in the racebook and 50 cent sports wagers is legit in my eyes (as far as being customer friendly) Have not heard of any payment issues. I avoid the casino games at all costs because I do not trust any books online games. In today's climate, I don't think if I would deposit 2 grand overseas at one shot, but under $500 should suffice. Good luck.

I play on 5dimes and you have to realize that there are horrible players on there. You're going to get cracked if enough of them call, but on the flipside, you should win in the long run with proper money management.
