BetOnline is trying to be a brand name in the US market. Being patriotic I told their marketer that I would go ahead and make another CC deposit but the cc this time had 1 letter off in my name of Pr#PS##a. I own a 400 person company and do not have time to go to the bank and change the card for one letter when it's the only card with just one letter missing. The marketer said that would be no problem when time to verify. I knew about verification so I asked up front. After losing a grand, I got lucky and won 5k. Thinking I might make a small withdrawl, I called and asked if they needed anything else to prove my identity. They said there is a problem with one of the "4" cc's I deposited with and this 'could' be bad news. They then told me to call tomorrow when banking is open. There is no way BOL won't pay me after using 3 ************ with my name spelled correct and telling them upfront b4 the last deposit right? BOL will do the right thing I'm sure and I will keep you posted either way. Thanks!

Edit by Lou: After speaking with BetOnline management, the following was explained:

1. The misspelling of the player's last name on the card used obviously prompted the need for additional scans/documents. While the request may have helped infuriate the player, it was necessary and fairly standard.

2. Due to the high fraud risk associated with "business cards", BetOnline is going to A. refund deposits to the card in question, B. will pay the winnings of the account balance through their normal payout methods, and C. institute a rule going forward that company cards will not be accepted.

BOL pays me because I won and am due the money, I will post on this thread. If they try to avoid paying an honest post up player who deposited, lost, deposited won and got stiffed.....I should probably post that too. The one thing I promise to do is keep it 100% factual, which is why this forum is treasured. With football season upon us and the bonus BOL gives, all they're missing are some successful payout history. A history I unfortunately noticed missing in Lou's payout thread.

Is the spelling mistake just on the card, or is the same spelling mistake on your statement as well ?

If so then I suggest making copies of front and back of that card as well as a statement, and also do the same for another of the cards you have used with them in the past. This should prove that despite the spelling mistake, both cards are registered in your name and go to the same address etc

The only spelling mistake is on the card. Every other item I sent is spelled correctly and the signature on the back of every card is identical because it is me. I told them this before I deposited it and oddly enough they took my deposit no problem. Huh? Odd they took my deposit

I have been playing BOL for 7 years and stopped because they hassled me over a $100 deposit I made with a gift card that i must have thrown out. 7 years and they are going to hassle me over $100? BOL - you need to get a clue. People are worried about the safety of their money. If you are concerned about chargebacks, make leniancies for long time players. For non-long time players... wait until the grace period passes for doing a **********, and promise pmt when that period is up!

The 1st reason was because my card was blurry. The 2nd reason was because one of my cards was misspelled(but they forgot that I pre-authorised that before I deposited) so that reason sucked too. So today was the day, after two weeks of trying to request a payout, we hear the reason best suited t fit them.

I asked where this was in the rules and they replied that everything is at BOL discretion. I found out about this Taco Stand SB from SBR. Please Do Not Try and Become Forum Pro by depositing to BOL! They will not pay you! The last time I submitted a complaint with SBR was WSEX before their problems. Somehow those posts 3 years ago are missing and I'm only a member since 2010? Justin please do not continue to let BOL butter your bread and let them stiff your followers. The next person who gets stiffed may actually need it for a car payment.

TONS of recent problems reported. They got in over their heads when they opened the poker room. They now have tons of new players and employees who are ruining payout times and shitty service being rendered. Stick to other books for the time being at least.

While the investigation went on, as human nature goes, I did not post for fear of it going against me. If you know the facts I've already posted, why would I need a form? Take my posts and ask BOL. Thank God 4k isn't enough to scare me into silent hope after submission. lol wtf.. this is not the way to try and get paid.. obviously u are giving up on your money.... betonline is a sponsor here and im sure sbr can pull some weight around with them IF u have told the truth about your case.. which in all honesty u have to be hiding something.. it wouldnt make sense for them to stiff based on the reasons u gave.

The complaint form gives us more info than what you tell in the forums. I don't know your account number, email or tele. The complaint also authorizes the sportsbook to discuss your dispute with SBR (assuming you check the "yes") box.

If you're serious about getting paid, fill out the complaint.
