So when a book is super lopsided why are they scared to move their line? Like if you are 10-1 money with pats why not just move it to the 7.5? Are they just afraid to get middled?

Why would they need balanced action on everything if they are +ev anyway?

Oh right. Pinny hasn't moved, so just take +110 or layoff at Pinny.

Don't see how Army is a sharp play whatsoever. I'll happily be square here.

I think he has touched on this before - there are books that want to be balanced at all costs (meaning moving from -6.5 to -7 and through to -7.5 and hoping not to get middled but being balanced), the thinking is that if you balanced every game you make your vig. Other books hold the number and avoid middles, depending on the situation, making their big decisions by having lop-sided games and *not* wanting to be balanced, by being on the side of the sharps and against the public.

I think the case above is easiest enough to figure out, sharps laid -6.5, public is laying -7 (not sharps), and then a move to 7.5 would get a flood of sharp action that they likely do not want. Another book may want it if their philosophy is to be balanced.

This has nothing to do with laying off at Pinnacle, absurd to even suggest that.

Agreed. I love military academies as Dogs, but Ball St is tough.

jaysus... you have no idea what you are talking about, do you? rec book? you realize they are owned by the same group as BM, right? dsi has huge limits and you wont get those limits cut in any major market just by luckbox winning... horses and smaller markets, they will cut you like most everyone else... but very unlikely to have anything cut.in a major market unless you are attempting to circumvent limits with your bm acct.
keep trying, monty...one of these threads you will get something right, buddy...
