Who knows if Vegas casinos have competitive sports lines? They did 25 years ago, but the last time I was there [2005], I saw nothing a shopping gambler, looking for that game breaking 1 xtra-point, could see as Vegas competitive lines, they all seemed to be line with each other?

Heritage by a mile... They have always been the safest and will continue to remain the same.

How does BetIslands fall on this list? They've been open for 5 months and I already had a not so great experience with them!

I agree 100%. Our money is less safe than ever. Thegreek left for a reason. Trust me, they would love nothing more than to take all of our $$$$ forever. They left the market becasue it's dangerous now. The risks have outweighed the reward. And the reward is tons of $$$$. What does that tell you? I'll stick with bookmaker (CRIS) depite the clouds swirling around that company. When they leave the market, I'm done. One more thing- people think a local is the answer. It really isn't. First of all they work on credit, so it's very easy to get in over your head. Secondly, it's hard to find a solid one. I live 10 minutes from NYC in a Italian neighborhood and I only have one bookie that I would trust at all. Bookies are everywhere, good luck getting paid if you hit big. It's a shame that online gambling is just about over, especially for recreational gamblers who enjoy a little action on Sunday or whatever. The writing is so on the wall that we would have to be blind not to see it.

Of the remaining ones I have funded, I like Betus, Intertops and Youwager....Never had an issue and been with them many years. Youwager however, will hound you to no end to reload....they are relentless no matter how nasty you get with them......

Legendz may be safe but I don't think it's the safest. Anyways, as a whole, the book is a joke. No overnights, crappy software, no non-major sports, middling juice. Safe but sh*tty is what I would call it. 5Dimes, Heritage, Bookmaker, BetOnline = better places to play.

Out of those two, I would go with 5 dimes hands down. WAY more betting options.

Maybe bodog? I am using betonline, but I am new to them so can't comment on how safe they are personally.

your funds aren't safe anywhere. Don't be foolish enough to think otherwise. Just look at all the most recent events since the beginning of 2011. The WRITING IS ON THE WALL. Only risk what you can afford to never see again!!!
