odds on proline are terrible, once in a while they make a mistake which is +EV but more often than not Proline will kill you with juice

Id rather have ineffiecient lines with high vig than sharp lines with low vig.

Lots of off market numbers that you can exploit.

Proline is easy to exploit... it's just that the opportunities to exploit them are diminishing. I use to live off of Proline a few years back... was cashing about +$1000 a month on average. Edges are almost non-existent now.

    Funny thing ....

Poindexter used almost exactly the same words when I was talking to him some years back.

Amazes me how most people just never seem to be able to grasp this concept.

they were supposed to get nba back in ontario last year. I called them every month and all they said was we are in the process, why say it if you can't do it. The nba are hypocrites , they play games in the u.k. , yet tell ontario to take games off the board

I owe a ton of gratitude to proline player for helping learn about edges and how to beat the bclc.

The regular lines maker must be gone for the week, because there were another 5 good 1% to 20% edges on Tuesday, and 5 almost close to being edges -1 to -5%.

I usually only get a ticket in 2wice a week, now, instead of twice a day , due to the odds. But if you live in the bclc region and ignore the oppurtunity, you are definetly losing some $$$ making chances.

3rd straight day of edges on BCLC sports action, regular lines guy must be on holidays. 9 edge or almost edges. + 2 obvious ones on props.

Proline odds are brutal. The Quebec card and Atlantic Canada cards are much better with a smaller government takeout. Still a suckers bet

Let's revive this thread. I am a BCLC player, huge $$ to be won. I have had 4 major wins since dec 2, 2010. people say the odds are bad I guess because you are looking at the money line of offshore books and comparing it to a "win" on proline/bclc. But, it's almost the same as buying points if you think about it, so why not go for the games you think are close and pick ties? And yes, sometimes on points there are edges, like big ones, if you hit it early enough and do your homework - as they do tend to pull games right off the card. they wont change lines, they just take the games off entirely. early bird gets the worm

    proline/sports action is a joke
only for long term losers u cant even straight bet lmao

only thing they might be useful for is getting stale lines in your favor as they dont move lines off opener

I've cashed a ticket on a stale number which I woulda lost otherwise more times than I'd care to admit...

Proline betting is ONLY for hitting those stale numbers... best time to get at those government outfits is when you notice vegas is slow to release multiple lines on a given day... chances are you are going to enjoy some free points on multiple games should you like the given side.

Today for instance if you like IND you get em at a mere -0.5. Should you like Dallas you only have to lay -1.5. Mia -9.5, and so on.... The other night when Love hit that 3 vs the Clips they had the Pups as a +9.5 dog!... I'm not saying they are great long term bets but can be profitable if you pick your spots correctly.

I sometimes play sports action but only on oddset and picking tie games... almost hit Ole Miss and Nebraska yesterday but fuckin Nebraska won by 6... 1 point off a tie game... lol...

There is a lot of soccer matches on the menu for tomorrow... any soccer specialist see any possible draws on the menu?

Allowing single sport betting at fair odds (where one can actually play with an edge) is immoral, but allowing and encouraging those new to the sports betting industry to play parlays at bad odds is allowed... Fortunately the BC Liberals are on board with the expansion of the gaming industry in BC, so here's hoping that eventually progress will be made on this front.
Isn't there a federal law in Canada that prohibits single team wagers?
