I'm thinking taking a SB bonus is a bad move

I like to play poker In the rooms connected to SB's.
    If I deposit $200 and get a 25% cash bonus with a 10 x RO
That would mean I need to sports wager $2500 ($200+$50 x 10) before I can withdraw a cent? Regardless how much I win in poker?

Or I can not take a Bonus (FP or Cash) and get my money anytime I want it, and I never have to wager anything on sports right?

    Am I going wrong here?

Also if I take a FP and lose it right away, am I still liable for the entire rollover of my initial deposit plus FP?

Thanks guys. Need to figure this one out.
Seems like a bonus no matter how attractive is just an Albatross around the bettor's neck.

If u say so man, any free money is good money. Anyone that says not is just plain dumb, also why bother to bet if your worried about losing. If its easier for u to too not take the bonus go right ahead but u are turning down free money.

If you just want to play poker I don't think you should take the bonus, because I'm pretty sure that poker does not count towards your rollover (you are taking a sportsbook bonus, I am sure the "terms and conditions" for this bonus are very clear about the rollover)...

Check the rules. I just took my first proper bonus - 100% match, 3x rollover in 90 days - but it clearly specified that I had to wager in the sportsbook and nothing less than -150. I've already completed that so it wasn't a problem for me but if you're thinking you might need to access that cash immediately make sure you know what you're getting into first.

And to answer your question about being liable for the deposit + fp, I was using this account to hedge out bets at other books so any bets I lost were taken out of my "withdrawable amount" first. I'd double check to see how it works at your book.

It's book and history specific as to clearing sportsbook bonuses in their affiliated poker rooms. I have always been denied. If you have a losing history at the book they might allow it.

Anyway for the rest read this:

Sportsbook and poker are always considered separate entities. You could always take a poker bonus if it's more convenient.

If you're concerned about the rollover don't take the bonus.
