Caribsport no longer accepting US players and closing $0 accounts

Edit by SBR Lou: Carib is still serving US players, and is still allowing US registrations. Carib isn't sure why the player posted what he did, but confirmed that his account was closed. If the player has any additional questions, we'll ask that he send an email to help@sportsbookreview.com.

    ____
I just got off the phone with thee rudest cs rep at Caribsport in regards to my account i had but never use, i was told it was closed, i then ask to speak to a sup, and the sup said that they don't wanna deal with US customers anymore so my account was closed (WTF) i ask why and they say its because of the new law, so i proceded to say well according sbr you still accept US players and he stated we don't deal with SBR. I'm so pissed.

    Prince,

If you'd shoot me a PM with your account number, we can inquire on your behalf. It's likely that the account was closed for dormancy, and not place of residency given Carib still lists United States under its player registration dropdown, and hasn't released any statement to say otherwise.

Since QT went down all they have for deposit options for US is w.u.or m.g.

And get this....not only does the customer pick up the tab but they also charge you a 5% processing fee to go pick up your deposit.

Not since the days of ESB/Telebet did I ever have to pay to deposit at a book.

Used to be one of my favorites back in the day.

Deposited $400 via betpoints in that book and they wouldn't let me log-on my account.

We called and spoke with Carib mgt.

Carib is still serving US players, and is still allowing US registrations. Carib isn't sure why the player posted what he did, but confirmed that his account was closed for a different reason. If the player has any additional questions, we'll ask that he send an email to help@sportsbookreview.com.

    Hi Prince,

When you title a forum topic, '(Sportsbook) no longer accepting US players...', you can expect that the claim will be either confirmed or denied.

After you sent your account # as requested, we called Carib to 1. have management address the topic of US customers, 2. address your player complaint. Other than confirming your account closure, no details pertaining to your player account were shared.

If you'd like to speak about why your account was closed, I'll repeat what I said above - please shoot us an email.

If this is true, why in the world would anyone ever want to play there? Not only do you have to beat the vig, but you have to also win enough to cover your deposit fees? That's insane.

Very misleading title to the thread, and pointless post given that it was a dormant account anyway.

I don't know how long it's been that way.

They never had those methods before.

They used to have QT and do book transfers.

QT gone now and no more book transfers.

Those 2 methods are the only ones available for US.

I wasn't told about the 5% pickup fee until I saw it debited in my account.

    What a ripoff.

I would guess they get very few new customers these days.

    Border Gadgie,

How is this thread pointless, if i call to get instructions to fund my account and find out its been closed, and be told point blank sorry we don't want US customers so we won't reopen your account, how is that pointless? Whether or not the account was domant isn't the issue, being TOLD that we don't want US players but reporting on various site that they do accept us, is misleading.

Carib isn't worth it. They charge you for deposits and they charge you for withdrawals. Not great reload bonuses and 20 cent lines for baseball and no reduced juice ever on other sports. Many other better options out there.

I been with Carib Sports for many years now. I never had a problem. There is no body better sports books with IF's bets online then Carib. You don't have to place IF bets in all at once. You can do them later after 1st game starts and so on. I once had a $10 if bet which was for $10. I bet if with A long string behind it and won over $700 with one $10 if bet. No limit of ifs in a row. Alos my payouts are very fast and also I love the deposit bonus each time you load money. I had MANY and they are one of the Best. i Love there NFL tournament coming up. Carib has always been excellent with payouts. A very good book IMO.
