A little misleading with the original post. Quick Tender was not seized, assets to US customers apparently were.

So will the US gov be privy to the payouts that people received and then demand they pay taxes?

I am also getting tired of this crap. **** the government.

Not likely, but you should be paying taxes if you're a winning gambler regardless. The gov't already demands that you pay taxes on gambling income.

This is old news and unconfirmed. QT/*** has no official knowledge of what happened to the cash sent to beneficiaries. And the DoJ has not come out and said they seized funds either. Everyone including idiots like Calvin Ayre eagerly await with their mouths open.

Yep!! That's because they do not accept US players funds and in not doing so are not committing money laundering, CC Fraud, ect. The only safe and smart books these days are ones like Pinnacle/BetFair ect. that do not accept or have any US players. If anyone plays at a sportsbook that allows US players and CC deposits there funds can be at risk at any time and just like in the past the money will be BYE BYE...Why do you think so many are banning US players...even some real bad books are. They are smart ones. Once the DOJ or Feds seize funds from offshore gambling accounts it will be GONE not like poker where we might still get...Just kiss it BYE BYE and will not have any recourse or means of getting back your money

Do you really think if this were to ever happen (which it will not) that anybody is actually going to remember you? Do you think in 2 years everybody is going to be saying to themselves "that guy TheGreen was right he saw this coming"?

Nobody really cares if you are right and nobody is going to pull their funds because of your obsessive worrying, so what exactly is your purpose here at SBR? you seem to spend a lot of time trying to instill fear into the community here with your conspiracy theories.

"instill fear".....LOL look around and you can not see all the warning signs that's your problem. Any smart gambler NON US would be wise to stay away from any book that allows wagering from US citizens and take CC deposits or has 3rd party shady processors. When the low rated books are leaving you know that trouble is a brewing...None of these books and processors have a leg to stand on if the FEDS/DOJ get them. UIEGA and wire fraud/ laundering charges they can not beat and funds seized...

Democrats are advocates to gambling, poker and horse racing wagering. Barney Frank is directly involved with the PPA and has tried numerous times to get gambling relayed legislation passed. The problems is the republicans and right wing conservatives that keep holding back on voting and rejected. The republicans stuck in UIEGA in pork of a bill and thats how it got passed. Damn republicans are the problem.

    There are no warning signs.

The US is shutting down processors just like they have done every so often for the last several years. Many books are choosing to no longer take US customers but are not turning away existing customers, this is because they are happy with their current customer base and the less US players depositing $50 at a time the less issues books will have with processors.

Nobody is running away from the US market most are just choosing to limit their exposure.

If you are scared to play than run along but don't try desperately to convince others to follow you just because you are over thinking things.

Nobody cares if the world is going to end tomorrow don't worry about the rest of us just save yourself.

Some people might want to keep there wagering accounts safe from any possible seizure. If they do they should know the fact that any book which accepts US wagers and the funds in those accounts and processors are always at risk. FACT...MA'am there are plenty of safe outlets like Pinnacle and BetFair that offer a safe wagering solution for the NON US player. If you choose lets say 5DIMES and the feds nail those crooks your money will be BYE BYE in the US or not. MA'am some like to make smart wagering choices just like picking a good bank and appreciate the fact that others are looking out for them...K

You have to be completely clueless to think there is little risk these days keeping funds in offshore books. There is no way to forecast when something bad may happen but ODDS are it WILL.

Would you bet that one day an A rated SBR book is going to run into trouble with the US Gov't? I would think there is a very good chance at some point that will happen. Of course there is no way to put a time table on it but you would have to be living under a rock to not think something is likely to happen to a so called A book.

One day 5dimes, Bookmaker, The Greek, Bet Jamaica, DSI, etc. will have a problem. Odds just aren't in their favor to escape the online gaming mess.

my god Obama is never responsible for anything is he? oh yea only the good stuff never the bad. there are hundreds of laws the DOJ doesn't enforce. they are enforcing these laws so YES he does have some responsibility here. He is not as Bad as John Kyl and company but you all act like he is a friend of gambling. HE IS NOT. he is just as much a piece of crap as the anti gambling R's are.

    Dear ***********

Since our last email communication where we advised any funds in your QT account could still be used to purchase at QT accepting sites we had been working hard to reinstate our withdrawal facility and ensuring your funds where safe and secure.

However, further developments specifically relating to our main bank processing company have resulted in our accounts being frozen subject to a seizure order giving us no ability to make payments in any currency.

In light of these developments we have had no option but to discontinue the QT service with immediate effect and for the foreseeable future.

At this time we are unable to confirm when or if we could make payments of remaining balances.

We will keep you advised of future relevant developments.

    Use My Wallet seizure

All accounts were closed with or without balances. All assets are frozen.
Their were also known as Quick Tender. Unfortunately I had a sizable
balance and can't it's gone forever. At this point I might as will quit
the offshore book gambling. Nothing worst than to get raped like that!
