    After BetED - Who's Next?

Which books do you think will be indicted next?

And more importantly which of those books will be in a position to go about business as usual like Bookmaker,
and which will run with the money like BetED?

No sportsbooks were indicted. A few .com domain names were seized. No big deal. And some of Beted's funds was frozen at a payout processor. They now act like it was all their money, which can't be anything else than complete bogus. (if they don't pay they're thieves, and deserve to be hunted down).

So there is no real added reason for concern. Other than the usual. Keep an eye on books that change direction to slowpay or semi-slowpay. Especially if there's no NFL season. That would be a bigger concern than the US government.

Dark Horse said something that is very important to understand. Bookmaker's owners were not indicted. Their domain was seized. Accounts of their payment processors were seized. So what that means is the smart businesses (like Bookmaker) always left very little cash sitting with their processors. While Bookmaker will have a loss it will be small and that is why they are saying "business as usual" because the big money is all safe and secure in Bookmaker's operational accounts in other countries. The US will have a tough time taking the accounts of a business that operates in another country and is legal in that other country.

The reason they could get the processors accounts in other countries is the processors operated within the US borders which allows them to seize the accounts much easier.

The BetEd thing is a joke, they stole the money. They saw this as a chance to ride off into the sunset and never look back.

Dont have any knowledge at all of U.S. legal system but it seems like the setting up of fake money processors by the U.S. drones is a form of 'entrapment' anyone any idea how courts will view it?

Most countries would immediately recognize the hypocrisy. Not the US, where cops posing as hookers are normal. It's the mentality of trying hard to bring out the bad in people, and then arrest them when the sting succeeds. Only in the US. Country where everything is taken to the extreme. Including hypocrisy.

Well that sting processor is shut down and unless theres other sting ones that we dont know about then i think everything is cool if they dont do anything stupid. From what i read that pop wasn't even targeted at sportsbook's it was for tilt and stars, i read they didn't even want to go threw with it its just cause of the bust last month with poker that made this have to come out cause it was related. So hopefully everyone stays on the up and up so this sh-it doesn't happen again.
