I have not used Ladbrokes or Will Hill in years because I have been limited to betting peanuts.

They limited me as well. I had 1.5k there and bet mainly on tennis matches that their odds dropped significantly usually after I had placed the bets but I also bet on some soccer and some parlays. Strangely enough I hadn't used them a whole lot. Only 3 bets on April, 3 on March none in February. Average bet was 300-400euro. They actually put the limit to 0 on every single market.

I emailed them 2 days ago and they replied today (must be busy).

Within our Shops, Telephone Betting and Internet Operation we make every effort to accommodate all bets presented, but there are and will continue to be times when the demand for specific selections dictates the need to introduce a level of control on our liabilities. I can confirm that your account is currently restricted.

Surprised this is an A+ book.

Ladbrokes is intended for recreational players only, they are very slow to move their lines and if you take advantage of that, they'll boot you like almost any other book. William Hill will do the same. But they are both legit, you will always be paid. The A+ rating is justified in my eyes.

Said it before: if sbr took into account limiting, then only pinnacle/greek/sbo/cris would be A, the rest would be F.

They'll all do this if you bet value.

    Heee,

I have been limited at a dozen books including some on the SBR sponsor list. SBR doesn't look into account limiting because they want to promote books most people won't get limited at because they want the uninformed gambler using them.

Bodog just upped my limit. If anyone wants to use it let me know. Bodog will know something is up though if I win more than 2 or 3 in a row and start betting +ev.

you certainly don't need to make a fortune to suffer this fate
I've been limited at almost all the Euro books, some of them whilst being in loss
it's more to do with the nature of your betting than your profits that get you limited

i make all kinds of bets at 365, five dimes. never been limited. i look for a lot of value too when i bet. but i am in the negative with both books. guess thats why I've never been limited. i understand what you're saying though.

You are lucky if you can bet 200 EURO . First they slashed my limits to $1 .I kept placing wagers and got them or another $400 (i did that just on purpose) Than they zeroed my limits ,and didn't even reply to my emails on why they did that . So what kind of risk team they have ?LOL Risk team came up with an idea that $1 limit for me is too high

Ladbrokes limits players to as low as 1 e

Its why these books make so much money
The high ratings at SBR are mainly based on safety in my opinion and not betting limits

Ladbrokes is intended for recreational players only,
The term "sanitation worker" is the polite term for a garbageman. The term "recreational player" is the polite term for a LOSING PLAYER.

I received an email from BoDog when they decided to cut my limits down to $50 and they explained they are a "recreational" site for "recreational players". I emailed them back several times asking for exact clarification on what they mean by "recreational player" and never got a response back.

I just wanted them to admit that when they use the term recreational player, they really mean a losing player but could not get it out of them.

ladbrokes has incredible props for baseball, you wouldn't think a euro book would have so many baseball options, they even have will the first pitch be a strike or ball, i guess they have alot of canadian customers

i think many books will flatly state your account is not profitable to us, meaning you win to much, the euro books will state pretty clearly

They won't mind players who win by luck, since they're still -EV and thus likely give it back.

Thank you for your e-mail regarding the restrictions placed on your Ladbrokes account.

I am sorry to learn of your frustration in placing bets. We can confirm that you are currently limited on any given event.

This has been applied to your account as a result of some of the business you have placed with us on your accounts.

We can assure you we do wish to attract customers to our service whether they win or lose.

We do though have a responsibility to run the business profitably and therefore we do restrict certain customers and certain bets.

We do regularly review the stake factors on accounts in line with the business patterns of our customers and we may look to alter the factor in the future.

Whilst I appreciate your obvious frustration, the reduction in your stake factor is due to a well-meaning attempt to monitor our liabilities transactions placed across the various markets we offer. This provides a fair opportunity to all our customers who use the various betting channels.

May we advise, in an attempt to accommodate your intended stake unit, that you place your bets via our Telephone Betting Service on 0800 777 888 or +44 208 429 7971 (from outside the UK) or +800 8000 2828/4848 (if dialling from Singapore) and quoting your username.
Translation: If you are not losing money, you are not welcome here.

    Sure A+
