    UNIBET stealing money, please help!

    Hello

I come here for help, because Unibet stole my money
Last friday my account registered 1630 euros and now it has 10 cents
I wrote e-mails in portuguese (my mother language) and they just answered that i accessed my account during the weekend and played my money in the casino, they say that the access was made from my pc, with the same ip.

This cant be true, bacuse i was out of Lisbon (my hometown) the whole weekend, and i can proove it with receipts and highway toll receipts, and I think is rather stupid to suggest that someone just assaulted my home to play on my unibet account on my computer

This happens curiously the first time that i make some good money on Unibet, and when i asked for them to send me the records of my logins with the ip's used, they just said that the police from my country has to ask for them. Well in Portugal it is illegal to gamble, chances are that i get problems if i complain to my police

Here is the exchange of e-mails....

    Estimado Diogo,

    Cumprimentos

Burkina, is it legal to play at an online casino, or is that also protected by the government? If it is legal, perhaps you can file a police complaint for theft from an online casino.

It is not ilegal, it is not regulated, so in a country like portugal with so many problems, the police I am really sure that wont touch this...

You might be right, but if it's not illegal, then I would file a police report. With a police report number, Unibet might be more likely to give you IP logs, etc., even if the police decline to act on your behalf.

    Boas,

Já pensaste que alguém pode te ter sacado a password ? Usas a mesma password no email ou em outros sites ou fóruns ? Já soube de histórias em que isso aconteceu.

Do you use the same username and password for more than unibet? And have you scanned your computer for viruses lately? Maybe the answer lies in any of that. Or both.

It is unfortunately possible that a hacker was using your computer via remote administration. That would explain the IP address. Why not file a complaint with SBR? They might allow Justin to see the logs from the casino, so he could verify whether or not your IP address was in fact being used.

I dont know if anybody did that, but it is funny that my account is zeroed, after i withdrew 910 euros last week, and I was up 1600 on friday, when my initial deposit was 400 euros

As is also funny that they refuse to send me any ip's or login attemp logs, dont you think?
And then they tell me to go to the police when they know that in my country, it is forbidden to gamble....

Well, somebody has obviously been playing in your account and according to Unibet from your computer, the only conclusion to be made here is that if you didn't play this, then Unibet is lying.

If he was away for the weekend it is very unlikely that he left his computer on, and with the computer left off, this way is impossible. Or did you leave it on Burkina?

    Some people are just malicious.

There's no way a company as big as unibet scams over these amounts though, it's a nothing to them.

    Dear friends

I have to appolagize to all of you as well as to Unibet, because in fact my brother played on the computer while i was away on the weekend and it was him that played the money on slot machines....

He was afraid that i would get mad, so he did not confess until I told him casualy that i was going to put this in a lawyer...

Sorry, i really am, that i opened this topic and spoke bad of Unibet

    Thanks for your understanding

so your brother knows your password, or you allowed your computer to "remember" it without having a secure password over accessing your profile on the machine ?

either way very poor security on your behalf

Did your brother repay the euros? I would beat the shit out of my brother.

That's like a month salary for me.
