    EZ's March Madness contest

GRAND PRIZE: $1,000 (yes, one thousand dollars).

How could said prize be won?

Pick all 68 games of the tournament correctly. Not one miss.

Something that hasn't been done in the history of the world (documented, at least).

******* clowns in the marketing department. What a third-rate book. Software/design looks like it was made on geocities by a 4th grader.

Also, they had an ad up for "2011 world baseball classic" lines.

The next WBC isn't until 2013.

And you trust these jagaloons with your money?

    I hope that wasn't $1000 for a perfect bracket.

    Thats exactly what it was.

Think of it this way...On espn.com, just this year there was over 8 million brackets filled out. Now know that there has never been a perfect bracket picked any year since the tourny went to at least 64.

All in all. yet another very nice offer from EZ...remember guys...free payouts on Tuesdays!!!

If anyone did pick a perfect bracket it would have to be by devine intervention. EZ would then claim AI was used and void the winnings.

The equity cost of that promotion (if they got about 2,500 unique entries) would probably be about $0.01, LOL.

There are 63 games. Say that over the entire tournament you choose the favourites, and your chances are about 2/3rd to win each game (this is generous).

Your chances of a perfect bracket = 0.666^63

Multiply that by $1,000 and by 2,500 unique entries =$0.000020790625014

    Great promotion!

I am sure they genuinely think the winning chance of this contest is much larger than hitting 3 royals in 8000 hands, because nothing is worse than "statistically impossible".
