Are blodogs run lines and totals bad enough to be legal gambling?

Racetracks, casinos, bingo, lotto, there is basically no one that wins at these "legal" forms of gambling

This is why I think the under the table payoffs to keep any form which someone can win at (poker/sports gambling) not only illegal but spend a fortune to enforce it, so that all that money gets gambled on the legal garbage forms

But bodog has an answer to the problem...

Bodogs MLB runlines and totals are at 30 cent lines, I mean holy motherfukin **** are you kiddin me? These same lines are offered at 5dimes at 10 cent lines on their reduced juice option

I honestly think Bodog is just trying to make it so unlikely that a person will win that they may be legalized soon, there is just no other explanation, there is no way any gamblers are dumb enough to pay 30 cent line totals, I actually give even the average gambler that much credit, maybe I am wrong though

What are you saying? That sports betting will be legalized BECAUSE Bodog takes too much juice? Or that Bodog is taking too much juice because they believe sports betting will get legalized, and then this much juice will be the industry standard? What is the problem you are referring to , and how does Bodog's juice grab solve any problems?

Uh, move your money else where. Simple solution. Nobody is forcing you to play there. If some idiots actually wager into those lines, too bad for them.

Maybe insiders that juice up the dogs, almost no one else, 20% takeout and the casinos that have taken over the country attracting all the "sucker money" have all but eliminated any handicapping opportunities

Bodog has always been like this. Just like they circle abunch of games that you are restricted from parlaying or teasing. Only thing their good for is their dogs.

I was being sarcastic, the real reason blodog charges 30 cents for runlines and totals is that they think their clients are stupid enough to bet with 50% more juice than anywhere else

well that maybe a US phenomenon but it certainly isn't the case universally

but I guess if you have to put up with 20% takeouts and there are no bookies or exchanges it would make it extremely difficult
