I got +155 on the ml for both teams so only a draw will screw me. Not my typical type of bet here, but it looked good.

Very excited for the MLS to start back up. It's a fun brand of soccer to watch IMO, much different than European soccer and nice to actually recognize some of the players since they played at US universities.

Will be an interesting start to the season as LA has Beckham, Donovan, Garrett, and Juan Pablo is a pretty stout for MLS standards, but it's also a revenge game for Seattle as LA knocked them out last year. Seattle is probably the greatest crowd in the MLS, and it will be a wild game. It be early on in the season anything can happen.

LA is a pk +108 which is surprising...and no O/U set yet. Early on I kind of like LA as there are a few injuries on the Seattle side with Steve Zakuani and Brad Evans both being banged up. Will probably watch the warmups to make sure.

exactly LA PK +108 seems too good of a bet, maybe books know some thing we don't

Can't believe the mls is back already. Every year I try to tell myself that this will be the year I follow the MLS from start to finish...I'm still working on it, but we'll see how this year goes...

Yes, Seattle has a really great crowd for these matches. I want to catch a game there this year or next.

Looking forward to MLS action. Might even buy the package.

New York has Henry and Marquez. Honestly I believe these guys came to the US for a nice retirement, might be a good idea to fade the Red Bulls as long as the books keep the lines inflated for the public.

Anyone familiar with MLS? I believe we should be following teams based on how the coach has built the team. I remember the MLS cup final last year, 2 great hard working teams hardly any stars in them.

MLS overs are usually in the start of the season in my experience but the galaxy should win it all this year or be there at the end. I dont think the galaxy have ever lost in seattle as far as I know.

galaxy at pk seems like safest wager

Coach the MLS is where older International players come to die and receive their last decent paychecks before they retire. Also, its a place for US players to try and hone their soccer skills in the hope that one of them might be good enough to make it to Europe someday. The numbers of players who've made it can be counted on one hand. The quality of the game is questionable...and probably on par with Englands First Division...possibly.

The league can brag some big names such as Beckham, Marquez, Henry, Donovan, and others, but their great playing days are behind them and they're trying to make decent $$ on their names, because their output really has been nothing special.

Totally agree...I thought I knew Sporting Kansas City (The Wizards last year...name change this year) pretty well last year, but I got it stuffed in my ass more often then not as in the MLS it's more of a home team/field kind of betting spot. KC actually went out on the road and won a few at decent odds. The MLS is affected by International Competition, Cups, etc. and they're not nearly as deep as European teams so you've got to be extra careful as teams play games closely together on the schedule.
