what is a lay bet? as i can see, you bet 0-0 for levante-valencia.

why are you celebrating on that goal which gave valencia the win?

a lay bet is betting the opposite of an outcome. basically i expect that there will be no 0-0 happening (need at least one goal).
a back bet is the usual bet we all normally do. backing a team to win for example.

got lucky in NFL with total 37 at the end.
and taking levante-valencia was a very very bad choice (goal in 83min).

congrats mate, when you say x2 etc, is that x2 units? how much is each unit worth?

word of warning, be careful betting in the Italian Serie A and B, there are a few 0-0 games, I had a bet for Napoli vs someone and Cavani scored in the 92nd min of stoppage time so i got real lucky, had huge money on it too...

thanks for the warning about italian leagues. i know it as well and i would not put any money on them if i were not sure. i do check many times before i place my bets.

you got it right with my unit size. 2x is about 2% of my bankroll. it is low because lay bets have a high liability in general so i keep it small but steady. the lower the liability, the higher i will put my stake in.

Interesting Decado, how do u minimize losses in case of a lay 0-0 when a game is 0-0 and almost the end of game?

if the game goes really bad, after 2H i will back 0-0 in many small stakes (like every 5 min) until i will be at 0 profit when a goal happens or lose about half of the initial lay profit when it ends 0-0. so far i did not do this method yet.
if you like, i can explain it more detailed tomorrow.

but i don't pick 0-0 games. i pick games with at least one goal and it's all good.

    GL my friend
be careful with this "lay" system cuz it's dangerous. It's like backing the 1.10 odds

I 'greened' myself in Auburn v Oregon game before half time, so no matter who would have won last night,
I was in + side on both teams. I will explain how I did this:

I placed four more live bets during the game because I felt that my initial bet 'Auburn +2.5' may be a loss. Therefore I had to react, so I would not lose 4x in case of Oregon winning more than 2.5pts.

    Code:
     0-0 pre-game, back auburn+2.5 @1.83 (-120) for 4x = O-4,00 A+3,32
     0-0 auburn ball, back oregon @2.12 (+112) for 3x = O+6,36 A-3,00
     3-0 oregon lead, back auburn @2.72 (+172) for 4x = O-4,00 A+6,88
     3-7 auburn lead, lay auburn @1,70 (-143) for 5x = O+5,00 A-3,50
    16-11 auburn HT lead, lay auburn @1,60 (-167) for 2x = O+2,00 A-1,20

    That makes:
    Auburn win: +3,32 -3,00 +6,88 -3,50 -1,20 = 2,50x
    Oregon win: -4,00 +6,36 -4,00 +5,00 +2,00 = 5,36x
In this case I won 2,50x last night.

ENG Blue Sq Premier: Darlington v Histon - lay X - 7x WIN +5 (-2 due to greening)
    ENG League Two: Stockport v Rotherham - lay X - 7x PUSH-0 (-7 due to greening)
    ENG League Two: Huddersfield v Plymouth - lay X - 7x WIN +5.7 (-1.3 due to greening)
    ENG League One: Peterborough v Brentford - lay 0:0 - 2x WIN +2

All three 'lay X' matches almost f-ked me up today. After I placed my bets, I found out they are nowhere aired live on tv/online, neither could I find any live stats for these matches. (It is vital to follow the games to make short-time predictions)

Then the dogs started scoring first which are bad for the 'lay X' strategy. I had to green up all three games in 2H and lost no profit at the end.

Maybe no more 'lay X' in lower English leagues for me. It is too risky.
