LAUDRUP went from barca DreamTeam of '92 (Stoichkov, hagi, romario, laudrup) to real madrid and beat
barca 5-0 with playres such: zamorano, amavisca, michel and luis erique .. and that is one of the reasons
he was named non-spanish player of quarter-century at the end of the millenium .. another reason is he
was instrumental in romarios 30 goal season with the last goal coming in rd 38

Laudrup was a great player. And he's a boss manager too. I'm hoping Liverpool get him after Hodgson leaves.

I am too drunk too discuss this right now but I will put my thoughts together tomorrow about Real Madrid and Barcelona. Funnily enough, I met a Madridsta today and she had stopped supporting Madrid after their treatment of Raul. More on this when I'm sober.

it seems like barca to win their 6th stright league game over real is too much to ask, but if there is one club to break mourinhos home unbeaten record it will be FC Barcelona .... BARCA for life!

Haha, yeah. Brought home a Spanish chick too.

I support Liverpool but have respect for both Real Madrid and Barcelona. Madrid built a really good side in the early 2000s under Del Bosque with Ronaldo (the real one, El Phenomenon), Zidane, Makelele, Figo among others. However, this Barcelona team is on another level. The work ethic, combined with the skill and talent make this team an absolute dream to watch.

On an exchange. Madridsta too, but doesn't go to games anymore because they sold Raul. I told her I liked Madrid too and talked about Raul, Zidane, Ronaldo, Casillas and she was very impressed. Impressed enough to come home with me.

Btw, found this lovely quote today-

Dani Alves: "If Pep told me to throw myself off the 3rd tier of Camp Nou, I'd think: 'there must be something good down there'."

About Raul there's always people with him and against him! Lot of people said he was useless last years he played for Madrid.

I think there was no need for Raul to leave, He needed to end his career in Madrid wearing the 7 on the back!

I think there was no deal about Ronaldo! Ronaldo is not a striker!

They just had problems with Raul! Part of the fans were tired of watching Raul on a bad streak!

But he was one of the few player that really feel the colors of the team!

i watched raul live in his debut in la liga at age o 17 ... he scored a goal from overhead bicycle kick and real won 2-0. after his long career, imo they should of let him retire there even if he wasnt gonna be a starting 11

I agree. Raul is a Madrid boy and should have been allowed to end his career there.

    Totally!

He deserved to be in Madrid more than some of the players like Mamadou diarra such a piece of sh*t!

When I saw him with the captain band on Wednesday I was like WTF

I hope all the world will be watching in less than 1 hour, historic match. Bookmakers see chances as follow:
Barca 2.4, Draw 3.6, Away 2.75...considering Barca won all the last 5 matches or more against Real and last time Barca won 5:0 I see a great opportunity today to bet on Barca which I just did.
Good luck everybody betting on this match

1:1 both on penalties, Real penalty was awarded not deserved, they had to lose, ball possession like Barca 80%-20% Real...I am quite sure referee Mr. Cesar Muniz Fernandez was paid by some bigger bookie like Bwin to help them fix the match, this match was a very high on betting revenues and of course most people either bet on Real or Barca, nobody on a draw. But they play again on Wednesday, so I will bet on Barca again.

    http://eurosport.yahoo.com/17042011/...-man-real.html

As you can see this penalty was deserved http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Mmsw9vfp1w while other was not, pure match fix and corrupted referee.

Look here on 25th minute penalty had to be awarded to Barca but it was not http://www.footytube.com/video/real-...na-apr16-79336 and 50th minute was awarded because that was too clear!!! Then on 80th minute you can see that Barca didn't even touch the feet of Real, still referee rewarded penalty!!! http://www.footytube.com/video/real-...na-apr16-79336 so the match was fixed 100%!!!!!!!!!!!

I also think it was fair, but those referees should not be able to be on a game like "El Clasico"... I mean, is this the best referee in Spain? He penalized both teams! i hope that the next matches are better so they do not influence.
