    Argentina - Japan

Argentina are 8/13 to beat Japan in an intl. friendly on Friday

surely this is easy money? especially after the 4-1 beating they gave Spain in one of their last friendlies

only worrying thing is they only beat Ireland 1-0, and that was their a-team...

    friendlies are never sure money

think anything else and you're skating on thin ice

i don't think any of these teams cares about the end result

5/6 now, too good for me to pass up

might parlay with Germany to beat Turkey (Euro 2012 Qual.) at 8/13 as well

Friendlies are just for fun, without motivation everything can happen.

"Lionel Messi is in the squad despite having been injured recently, and if he plays then the Argentinians will go home $200,000 better off as part of the agreement with the JFA so expect him to play some part even if he’s limping!" I don't know about Messi limping, he was ok against Mallorca, but I think he shouldn't have been brought in Japan, but left at home to rest.
I hate friendlies. They are useful to the national managers who don't have too much time with their players anyway, but these games are only a tease in expectancy of the more important ones. I never bet them as anything could happen at the end of those 90 minutes.

Messi will play part of the match. At least that is the plan. Japan will be keen to do well, as in all the matches they play, whether friendlies or not.
I do not think it will be a high scoring affair.

Japanese paying Argentina to see MESSI and to improve their playing style as new coach approached and for better playing skills. Not like paying them to be a clown.

Argentina might've won the World Cup if Maradonna hadn't coached them

As an Australian fan too... I gotta say Japan is looking scary good for the Asian Cup next year. They defend in numbers really well and have looked decent on the counter against the Argies.
