Stony Brook men's soccer rode Leonardo Fernandes's two goals to a victory over the Bryant Bulldogs 2-1 Sunday afternoon. They extended their winning streak to three games and improved their record to 4-4.
Coming off of a 4-2 victory over Central Connecticut Friday night, the Seawolves were sluggish in a quiet and defensive-minded first half during which Stony Brook only took two shots.
“It was one of the worst games we've played.” Head Coach Cesar Markovic said of his team's performance. “However, there is a special saying, 'good teams win when they don't play well.'”
