Maybe one of the reasons why we didn't want to bet this game was because it was a meaningless friendly and a game where Man Utd were deliberately not playing their best team.
I never bet friendly games and I never will.
I come to the Soccer Handicapping forum to discuss Soccer betting/handicapping, post picks, share information and enjoy chatting with like minded people. If I want to make a bet, I'll log on my Sportsbook accounts and place bets with real money. My betpoints are for use in the SBR store, if I ever want a free play, get a copy of Justin7's book or something like that. I wouldn't say no to a free $250 bet, if I get the opportunity to get one.
If I'm going to risk points, I'd rather risk them against the SBR Sportsbook or friendly/respectful posters. If I lose a points bet to an individual, I'd rather see the points go to someone who I respect.

It was a very interesting and funny experiment.
The fact is at 7am yesterday, when none of you seemed to want to bet,
I told my wife that I did not think that one of you guys would bet 50 or 100 points that you claim are so worthless to you....
Even when I gave you double sweet odds !!!!
I am not the kind of person that would go around raising hell and name
calling in forums... Surprised none of you suspected you being taunted!
When no one would put up I decide to see if I could shame you into
betting... (little old ladies.. girlfriends... yellow streak.. etc)
My wife and I had a great laugh all day long....
No matter how much I called you "little old ladies".... and "imaginary play makers"
and gave you double odds.... Not one of you would put up...
But you sure enjoyed talking trash !

Even offering odds twice as good as any book !
When I got nothing back but trash talk about how the game was just a bullshit
friendly and "who cares" and real men bet money not betpoints etc...
(personally I enjoy every united game and I knew it would be no lame friendly)
I decided to see if I could shame those trash talkers into actually making bet and when they just talked more shit... I did make reference to them as "little old ladies and Imaginary play makers..."
It was still all in good fun...

I know the EPL well. The Italian, Spanish and Germans leagues pretty well
