    Trying This: 1st Half Profits

With the exception of the Germany-Australia match, we've seen a lot of scoreless or one goal halves - especially in the matches where one team parks their defense and defends. Switzerland will attempt that against Spain, so here's how a profit might be had if they can defend well enough.

    1st Half Goals Scored

    No Goals: +210
    1 Goal: +165

If either is true, you make a profit by putting one unit on each. Certainly not full proof, but you could have made a truckload of money with this so far. Of course me bringing attention to this means there will probably be two goals in this one. Take it for what you will. Above prop lines are found at BetPhoenix currently.

9 of 16 games have had ZERO 1st half goals...I'm doing really well making money so far in this cup, but wow, this boring football is testing my patience in terms of watching it.

Yeah most of it is fairly boring, although I thought the Brazil match was entertaining with no score because of their continuous ball movement and threatening at any point to make magic. Could try the same bet for South Africa & Uruguay, but the profit margin is very small. Think no goals is +115 and 1 goal is +125. Probably pass on that.

Even this game though...the "mighty" Spain...aside from 2 chances, the rest of the 44 minutes was dreadful

This is a solid game-plan EP.

I'm convinced and will be betting 1H u1/1.5 for every match from now until we start seeing more goals.

I'm done overthinkin this crap, just pound the under!

Kind of expected though with the Swiss trying to defend and get a point. 2nd half should be different ... hopefully.

Another one where the 1st half yields one goal or under. Looking at the three matches on Thursday: Argentina-South Korea, Greece-Nigeria & Mexico-France ... I would think taking this split again should work in the last two. Argentina-South Korea not sure, both have lots of speed and skill in their attack.

    Greece-Nigeria
    NO GOALS +135
    1 GOAL +160

    Argentina-South Korea
    NO GOALS +180
    1 GOAL +160

    France Mexico
    NO GOALS +140
    1 GOAL +155

Decent profit margin on all three for tomorrow. Greece-Nigeria is the best one of the bunch to me. I expect Greece to be improved defensively and Nigeria was solid against a better attack in Argentina, so no reason they cannot keep the Greeks in check for a half.

As I kind of thought the Argentina-South Korea 1st half did have a couple goals today and was easily the worst option for this strategy today. Will give it a whirl for the Greece-Nigeria match. Seems like 0 or 1 is a solid option in that one so long as the Greeks get their defense a little better shorn up today.
