    I agree, but I prefer betting on better teams, since they are more stable and IMO easier to predict. Bad teams have a harder time living up to the expectations. Liking Slovakia in this matchup though, can't really see New Zealand getting a shot at the knockout stage.

    I like New Zealand and New Zealand +1 for a small bet.

    NZ have been good in the lead up, incl. beating Serbia. Those that say NZ are no good probably haven't watched their games and are saying it because it is New Zealand. Slovakia aren't as good as everyone thinks either and are far too short.

    slovakia has good wingers i don't know much about new zeland but i don't think they have fast players. so i think slovakia will hit them from wings. 2-0 slovakia win for me.

    New Zealand qualified from a group of pub teams though, no more and no less can be said about the other clubs in the oceanic qualifying zone - their only good result in the pre-world cup was a friendly win against Serbia, if you are playing on that result you could say they only beat a team who went on to look like complete crap against Ghana. Still, depends how you want to look at it I guess.

    The ML for Slovakia has gone from -210 last night to -182 this morning. That's pretty significant movement considering there isn't a forum I've visited where at least 99% are on Slovakia.

    What's also interesting to me is the over 2.5 is +135, the over 2 is -137, and the under 2 is +117. Hmmm.....

    OK, I went with over 2.5 at +133. The under just seems too easy and why are the books offering under 2 at plus money when the over 2.5 is +133 and under 2.5 is -153? 3-0, 2-1, I don't care what it ends up.

    you play the teams you get. i think they have shown a lot in the lead up, even when they've lost. i don't think slovakia has shown anything worthy of their pricetag.

    NZ +1 was the play with a small NZ ML bet. Looking OK at half time. considering a hedge bet, any ideas what would be best? assuming 2 units NZ +1, half unit NZ ML.

    Kiwi defense looks confused but Slovakia can't take advantage of it. Too much unnecessary dribbling, they could have been up at least 1-0 if they passed the ball more.
