    • if America makes it to the playoffs a lot players will not be removed from the first squad incentive to keep a job next season.
    • salvage a horrible year
    • save the coaches job
    • they play at home
    • refs tend to help America when they need it most
    • Televisa factor, owner of America might play a roll on America winning
    • Santos will play with some reserves due to the fact that they are already qualified for the playoffs.
