River Plate are one of the hottest sides in South America. They are undefeated in their last 10 overall ( 7 wins 3 draws ), scoring 19 in that span , while allowing just 5. They have scored 2 or more in 7 of those 10 games and created scoring opportunities in mass. To say that they are known as an attacking side would be an understatement. They play a 4 - 3 - 1 - 2 or 4 - 4 - 2 , with a roaming midfielder that creates odd man advantages. River have won 5 straight on the road , including a 2 - 0 league win at Racing Club. They have an estimated $76 million in Transfer value compared to Emelec's $ 23 million. Emelec are a team that have a similar style of play , and offensive formation , without the results of River.
