    1st Daily Thread 8/9

    Not much good action today, unless you want try your luck at the Olympic matches or one of the dozen frienemy matches that can either end the way you see it or the complete opposite aand about 80% of the time it's the complete opposite.

    Two nights ago I was looking ahead and decided to look into probably some of the toughest matches to cap and I after some research I got a few matches I think have a high % to win...

    EPL Cup....Tough to cap these your never sure if a team is playing to win or just wasting 90 mins. The team who wins the Cup gets an automatic entry for Europa League but a lot of these lower tier coaches wont play their best knowing that eventually a top tier team will beat them but there are some coaches who see this as an opportunity they wouldn't normally get once a year. Last League 2 team to make the final was Bradford City in 2012-2013 they beat Arsenal, Wigan, and Aston Villa.This Cup in particular is known for Giant Killers won't be any of those today top tier teams get a bye the 1st week so all we are dealing with is Championship, League 1, League 2 teams which doesn't make it any easier. I found a few trends that happen year after year road favs win at a high % and home favs are lose often. 2015 Home Fav W/L/D 9/9/3 Away Fav 7/4/4.....2014 Home Fav 9/6/2 Away Fav 8/1/2.....2013 Home Fav 12/4/3 Away Fav 8/3/1...There are a few games I disregarded if the odds were too clse together (ex. +135/+155). There is one team in particular who's coach has came out and said he will be playing his best team, also I have few teams playing are on my auto-fade list, and close to KO if I get line-ups of a few certain teams I may post others. Here's what I got....

    Nottingham +113
    Sheffield Wednesday +100
    Ipswich -177
    Shrewsbury +233

    I like it and if Newport gets those transfers in should cash, young players scare me tho you never know what their going to do but Nicholls the goalie has let in 26 goals in his last 20 starts only 6 clean sheets. I think I'm going to play the over. BOL to you

    mansfield blackburn
    both comes from defeats and both with strong lineups tonight... first XI with 3 - 4 changes for both...
    especially blackburn`s new boss wouldn`t want to get 2nd loss at helm and be out of cup in first week... blackburn is up @ 2.3 now...and i think strenghtwise bookies opening odds @ 1.9 on them was fair enough...
    will play inplay over goal line for half times there ...

    Yea I know, but looking at the stats USA isnt running it up, their not playing that up tempo offense we're always seeing from them. Probably saving it for the next round just trying to get the W without conceding. I got something you'll like

    Only going a half here, both teams can score and get scored on. From looking at the stats and watching a few clips the 1st game for both teams they looked flat but the 2nd game China came out hard 12 SOG's 18 SOffG and Sweden was just dominated by Brazil and managed to score late but they ony had 3 SOG's and vs South Africa they had 4 and won 1-0. I'm thinking 2-2 FT
