    My football diary

    Wed play:
    FBC Melgar -1 (6/5, 2.20, +120), 1u play
    FBC Melgar win (8/15, 1.53, -190), 2u play

Melgar are on fire in the Peru Primera atm, winning all 5 of their games at home this season to date, conceding just one goal and scoring 14, averaging 2.8 per game. Their opponents have yet to win on the road this season, drawing 3 and losing 2. They have only scored 3 goals on the road as well.
Melgar have taken the last 2 league matches by 2 goals, as well as winning the last cup match between the sides earlier this year by the same margin.
Opting for the home win here.

    Deportes Tolima (1/3, 1.33, -300)
    Emelec (4/11, 1.36, -275)

    1.5u DOUBLE/PARLAY

Two interesting home sides, both are strong at home, playing against sides weak on the road. Emelec are actually unbeaten at home so far this season, whereas Tolima have only lost 2 of their 8, conceding just 5 goals there as well. The away teams haven't performed on their travels this season to date and these games might just be one too far for them.

    Deportivo Saprissa (4/11, 1.36, -275)
    Herediano (2/5, 1.40, -250)

    DOUBLE/PARLAY 1U

    Herediano -1 (21/20, 2.05, +105)
    Win Single 1U

Costa Rican double on the strong home teams. Herediano have been added as a handicap on the strength of their home record this season, unbeaten in 8 games. Their visitors this evening in contrast have only won one game and lost 5 of their 8 on the road (2 drawn).
Saprissa's league position should not be overlooked, as they have played fewer games than every other team. They have only lost one of their 5 home games this season, scoring 11 and conceding just 4. Their opponents this evening have again won just 1 of 8, scoring 5 and conceding 11. This double is worth a unit I think.

A good start to the evening was badly hampered by a shock 2-0 defeat for Herediano in Costa Rica, still came out on a profit though.

    Thursday:
    Alanyaspor OR draw (1/3, 1.33, -300)
    Balikesirspor OR draw (2/7, 1.29, -350)
    DOUBLE/PARLAY 1U

    Fenerbahce (10/11, 1.91, -110)
    Win Single 1U

Starting Thursday in the Turkish leagues. Wanted to see some earlier action, but all the earlier games are for leagues that have just started (much harder to see the strong sides until it settles), or they are in their cup window.

The double first of all. Alanyaspor are unbeaten in their first 4 at home, winning two and had two draws against strong sides in the league. Their opponents Trabzon have won 3 of 4 away from home, losing last time out, but the wins have been against struggling sides, while in their 4 away games, they have managed to score just 5 goals. Added a bit of security by going double chance in case Trabzon opt for the defensive set up again here. Similar with Balikesirspor, unbeaten at home, but its one win and three draws at home for them. Their opponents have won 1 in 4 aways, but have managed just 2 goals on the road. For all the draws, the double chance was wiser.

Not much of a case had to be made for Fenerbahce, they travel to a side who have won just one game at home so far, and Fenerbahce need a win to keep on the tail of league leaders Besiktas who have already opened a 4 point gap at the top. Fenerbahce's quality should see them through.

    Sampdoria (13/10, 2.30, +130) - Win Single 2U
    Sampdoria -1 (10/3, 4.33, +333) - Win Single 1U

Strong play on Sampdoria this evening. They host Empoli at home. Sampdoria have played 5 games at home this season, winning 4 and drawing one. They have yet to lose there and have beaten giants Roma and drawn with Inter as well. They have scored 14 goals which is an average of 2.8 goals per home match and conceded just 5. Empoli have drawn one and lost three of their 4 away matches in Serie A this season, racking up just 3 goals, and failed to even score in two of those four matches.
All signs point to Sampdoria for this one.

    Galatasaray (2/5; 1.40, -250)
    Anderlecht (8/11; 1.73; -137)

    DOUBLE/PARLAY 0.5U

A not as confident play here, halving my normal unit stake. Galatasaray should win as they are playing the Super Lig's bottom side who have lost all 4 on the road this season and have yet to score away from home this season. Galatasaray themselves have only lost one of their 4 at home this season, the opener to Osmanlispor and seemed to have bounced back since. This should be a home win.
Anderlecht have been included as they have a strong away form heading into the game. Tradionally the 'Mauves' have been the giants of Belgian football and this year is little exception. Their opponents cast a little doubt as they have played 6 home games this season but are yet to lose, W3 D3 L0. Anderlecht have a much stronger squad on paper though which is the reason why they have been included.

Wins in both the early Turkey bets, maybe played a bit too safe in the double chance double, but better safe than sorry! Fenerbahce were held a bit closer than expected, but got the 1-0 win in the end.

It was an evening that we call in the business 'a complete disaster'!
I had my doubts about Anderlecht and it showed, falling to a 1-1 draw.
Sampdoria, well the price I couldn't believe, and if the line isn't as it should be in Italy, well you should stay clear!!

    Anyway, onto the next one

Belen v Limon - AH Goal Line Over 2.0, (1.375)
Junior v Independiente Medellin- AH Goal Line Over 2.0, (1.650)

    DOUBLE/PARLAY 1U

Two potentially high scoring games in Costa Rica and Colombia tonight. In Costa Rica, games with Belen have returned 49 goals from 15 games, an average of around 3.27 per game. Limon is 50 goals from 15 games, an average of 3.33 per game. Combine the two together and we have the potential for a high scoring clash. We only need 3 to win or 2 for the push!
Moving onto Colombia, Junior games have seen 40 goals in 16, averaging 2.5 per game, while Ind. MEDELLIN have a more modest 33 in 16, but that increases dramatically to almost 3 per game when you only count their away games. I have opted for the security of Asian Handicap in both games, but I can see both potentially going over.

Should be 5 goals in Limon game, but I see 1-0 or 0-0 in junior game.

    DOUBLE/PARLAY 1U - Results as above
As mentioned in Jonny's post, a late late goal in the Junior game saved my bacon! Got the push in it and took the other game with ease as it had won by the 31st minute. Onwards and upwards!

    Friday:
    Geylang - Home United: Total Goals O1.5 (2/9, 1.22, -450)
    Warriors FC v Albirex Niigata Singapore: Total Goals O1.5 (1/5, 1.20, -500)

    DOUBLE/PARLAY 3U

Starting Friday with a double in Singapore. Three of the teams averaging between 2.5 and 3 total goals in their games, while one is over that figure. It is a big scoring league, and I think there is no reason why both games can't notch up at least 2 goals each. Opted for a big 3 unit play, and it only returns a 1.4U profit, but would be a nice start to Friday's action if it can land.

The double lands, maybe not as spectacularly as hoped, but playing it safe prevented the heartbreak of a loss.

    Al-Ahli Doha OR Draw (2/7, 1.29, -350)
    Litex Lovech (4/9, 1.44, -225)

    DOUBLE/PARLAY 1.5U

A play I particularly like, so I went a little bit stronger on this. Starting with the Qatar game, Al-Ahli are at home to Al Khor, and have lost one of their 3 games at home this season so far, but this did not deter me from them as the defeat came from Al-Sadd who are unbeaten in their first 6. Al Khor have played 3 on the road, but have drawn 2 and lost one. What took the double chance for me is the fact that Al Khor have not scored in any away game so far this season, and have a goal record overall of F2 A8. Home or the draw seems most likely.
Moving onto Bulgaria, Litex are away to the A PFG's bottom club, Pirin. Pirin have only scored once at home and conceded 9. Litex are unbeaten in their first six on the road this season and look to carry that form on here. If Litex take the lead, it is difficult to see how Pirin can recover.

Atletico GO - Bragantino: AH Total Goals O2.0, 1.525.

    TREBLE/PARLAY 1U

Two teams that have high combinations of goals for and against in the top two matches, and two teams that are a lot closer to a 2 goal average per game in the bottom one. These 3 picked themselves, now lets pray!

    Good luck!
