    Manchester Utd v Tottenham

Tottenham at Manchester Utd - England Premier League - Saturday, August 08, 2015 7:45 AM
    2 Manchester Utd (ENG-P) Draw +300

Fellas I heard 3rd choice Sam Johnstone might be between the sticks not a bad goalie...but this will mean a cautious United, +300 is a good price I feel Spurs are getting undervalued here....poch ain't no fool, used to be a world class defender himself, has done wonderful business within the defensive system in his time with Hotspur.

Sergio Romero would be in line too, hasn't played much so I doubt it but the guy definitely has a mistake in him or two.

Looking at the options I see United scraping a 1 goal win but -151 no thanks I'll rather take my chances with the draw over +300.

EPL is back! My bread n butter lets be having ya!

Unusual occasion of more talk but fellas a bit more action ye

    Abandoning the clubs principles.

After Ferguson both replacements have hurt United's style of play, Moyes wasn't as bad I feel he needed more time & backing from the playing squad.

Van Gaal takes the biscuit though, the old united relied on fast tempo width attacking the team with pace. This fooka has slowed everything down emphasis more on possession and a back five this ain't Germany or Spain possession doesn't win you games in this league, penetration, countering with pace & pressure... stretching the teams wide allows the quality to show this is what wins you the league.

Hopefully we see a different United this season, there the richest club I wouldn't say there slipping only way is up...there too big to fall

Don't think that this game is gonna be a draw. Tottenham seem to be a good team on paper but when it comes to game time it becomes a coin toss for them. Sometimes they click and sometimes they don't. They have Eriksen and Kane who have been working together for a year, those two, if they raise their game and 'click', might give United some problems. I still can't believe United haven't bought a CB that is proven and commanding in the back, hopefully before the window closes they get someone. If I see Blind as a CB then it's gonna be a long day for United. Hopefully Young, Rooney, and Herrera all start as they have speed and are direct in their game. I see this being a 2-1 or 3-1 game and can go either way. Yes, United is at home but the team is not clicking as they should be yet. And those friendlies we had this year don't really say much.

Man Utd carved up that Tottenham defense with ease like a fat turkey 4 months ago. And this year Man Utd is much faster on the wings.

although they have a good record at home first game of the season

like van gaals appointment i think there will only be a slight improvement

hammer the draw fellas do the right thing here I really like this play, with de gea out and no world class defender books are underrating poch here.

this is an big game, spurs are a big team draw should be a lot lower

If you really believe Spurs will be live enough to back the draw, might as well throw a little on the Spurs ML as well

Both teams are hard to figure out sometimes but I would play the Over 2.5 if I had to bet it

having watched all of spurs friendlies during the summer they are just as wide open in defense as they were last season. they still leave gaps, and make fundamental misstakes in marking players down, leaving space for players to just run into. so while pochetino might have a promising squad on paper with the amount of young players he has at his disposal, the leadership in the defense leaves alot to be desired.

united on the flipside looks much improved throughout all their friendlies in the summer, and pretty much delivered in every single game.

and yeah, united has de gea out, but if we compare vorm (who is in net for spurs since lloris hasn't fully recovered from his wrist fracture) to romero, than romero is a world beater.

Man united lacking anything going forward if spurs had any sense they would keep this game close to 1-0 by the 75th minute then start to attack and look for equalizer

You should manage a sports team, this theory is absolutely flawless.

If Walker hadn't done so well to track back, have to believe Rooney would've scored anyway. Bentaleb with a diabolical pass in the midfield.
